THE NEW HOUSE

The Moving truck made its way into the drive way of my family's new house. Sigh, This house looks ancient and haunted.

My parents said we'd make it look more appealing to the eye, I dont believe them though. Everythings been more tough since my dad lost his job. Now we had to move into this dump, But atleast it has alot of places i can go explore.

I like exploring, It makes me forget about all the bad things that happens in this world. "Mom,Can i go explore?" I asked my mother, whom appeared busy. "Sure Sure,just dont go to far" she answered without even taking a glance at me.

I sighed, Thats how things usually go for me. My parents dont give a damn about me, or atleast thats how they act.
When I was younger I had a little sister, She ended up have breast cancer and..she didnt make it through her last surgery. My parents and i often go vist her grave, but unfortunetly we moved here so thats no longer gonna happen.

I stopped and sat near a river that divided my yard from a forest. I slowly passed my hand through the water. A school of tiny fishes swam past my hand. A smile slowly spread across my face. From the distance, i can make out a structure inside the forest.I considered checking it out.

A few minutes passed and i finally decided to get up. I walked along the edges of the river, and slowly a bridge came into my sight. I made my way over to the bridge but stopped in my tracks as something gripped my shoulder.

"Ugh, Miriam i told u not to leave my sight!"

I looked at my mother. She was clearly angry. I sighed, "sorry."

After Today all i wanted was some good relaxing time for myself.

"Mew"

My cat, kitty, climbed onto my lap and laid down,making herself comfortable.
I have to admit, I am unoriginal when it comes to naming things, like my old stuffed unicorn, I named her sparkles.

I sighed, i have about 3 hours until bed time. I grabbed my nintendo switch from my desk and began to play animal crossing.

I eventually fell asleep after a while.
My eyes flung open,
Oh god oh god oh god, please tell me this isnt happening again. I couldnt move. I couldnt yell, no matter how hard i tried. Why must this happen?

I look around my room trying my hardest to move, to scream, to do anything.

I stopped moving in shock. There it stood, Right infront of my closet.
The black figure just stared at me.
I couldnt tell what it was, who it was for that matter.

The room began getting colder and colder. Is it some kind of ghost? A demon? I had sleep paralysis before, but i never saw things like this, Matter of fact, Nothing like this.

I stare, helplessly, as the creature slowly walked towards me. Why why why oh god why?! Its standing right next to me. I cant move, i cant scream, and im to scared to even breathe. It's hands slowly reach over to me. It gently put its hand on my cheek...cold...so very cold...

I stare at it. It brings its face closer to mines. Its breath smells rotten...the room is like ice.....im shivering.....
