" with all that sighing and rolling your eyes I couldn't tell ." He said

" sorry Jason how rude that was of me how is your day going? " i said sarcastically

" good since you asked angel ." He said laughing

" foreal, what do you want ? " I asked

" I can't just check how you doing? But since you asked what about that lunch?" He pressed

" this is like your third time asking ." I said sighing

" and all three times you haven't gave me a straight up no so Imma continue to ask until that maybe a yes or no . " he said

" I don't understand why their ain't nothing special about me ." I said shrugging

" all a nigga tryna do is be cool with you and buy yo ass some food and converse I don't understand why is that a crime? " he asked

" cause I can buy my own food and if you wanna get technical were doing that now I'm eating and were conversing." I said popping a strawberry in my mouth

" so I've been told " I shot back getting up from the table

I got ta' Miami early dis mornin' I wasn't stayin' no longer den three days hopefully two..

Lord knows once I get back ta' Atlanta my ass ain't going no wea' fa a while I honestly don't wanna see a airport for a good few months ..

As soon as I got ta' ang pops house i turned off my phone cause I didn't need any distractions ...

" aug so what brings you all the way out here and don't say it's cause you missed me." Ang pops said taking me out my thoughts

" cmon , you know you da' pops I never had I'm jus tryna see what's up witcha'." I said smirking

" that's all good I'm well but why ain't my daughter come with you?" He asked

" cause - alright damn imma jus tell ya' why I'm hea." I said giving in

" well me and ang have been gettin' rather close -" I started then paused

" alright imma stop beatin' around da' bush Im feeling angel, shit who I'm kiddin' I think I'm in love . and I came to ask for Ya blessin' it wouldn't be right if i didn't i mean I have my doubts about dis' cause I feel like cam wouldn't approve but den' it's like I care too much about her not too ." I explained

" wow , when did you find out?" He asked surprised

" that I liked her? I honestly don't know all dis' shit happened so fast but it wouldn't sit right wit' me if I asked ha ta' be mines without Ya' approval cause I value ya opinion ." I said

" August , you know your like a son to me and I appreciate you coming all the way out here just to ask me this but Y'all grown so even if I didn't approve it wouldn't make a difference but I give you my blessing just take care of my baby." He said

" of course." I said smiling

Damn I ain't think dis would be that easy shit imma jus' be chillin' fa the two days ...
