I woke up from a peaceful slumber by the sound of my alarm. I shut it off and sat up I reached for my phone to see if my friends had texted me. I had three unread messages one from my mother who left to work at five in the morning the other two were from my two best friends, Courtney and Vanessa. Courtney and I had been friends since diapers we went to the same elementary school middle school and highschool mainly because me and her never moved. Vanessa on the other hand had been our friend for five years.

I opened Courtney's messages and read them

Courtney- heyyy
Courtney- wake up already
Courtney- the trip is today are you packed?

I laughed at her eagerness and replied.

Y/n- good morning yes I'm packed and I know the trip is today I'll get dressed and meet you halfway to school

I sat my phone down and finally stood up I walked over to the restroom and took a shower. I got out and wrapped myself on a towel. I went to my vanity and brushed out my hair. I finally decided to put my hair in a side braid. I put on a white crop top and some denim shorts. I did some natural makeup and put on my white and black converse. I grabbed my suitcase and wrote a goodbye note to my mother. I finally grabbed my keys and phone than walked out to my school.

half way to my school was Vanessa and Courtney waiting for me. "Why did you reply to Courtney but not me?" Vanessa asked pouting. "Well I didn't wanna be late just because we were talking now do I?" I joked with her as we walked to the school.

We finally arrived and the teacher rushed us on the bus. Lucky for me Courtney and Vanessa there was a spot open for the three of us. We sat down as the bus driver drove to the airport. Once we were there we got our tickets and boarded the plane. I had gotten seat C-3 Vanessa got C-1 and sadly Courtney had B-4. Once me and Vanessa found out seats right between us was my longtime crush Trey. I put my luggage in the top compartment and sat down. It was a long flight but finally we were on the island.
