KS: It was nice seeing you Hyung!
Seungmin took Minho's hand, he could almost feel Minho pulling away from him, there was nothing he could feel when he touched her, and wondered how she felt.
HJ: You too Seungmin!
Seungmin led Minho out of the shop, only stopping to open the door for her as they left.
LK: Bye Chan!
Minho said as she walked through the door, taking one last glance back over her shoulder and smiled as she saw Chan wave back.
Jisung got ready to order, and soon after he did they received their treys of sushi. He turned to Changbin and saw him texting on his smartphone.
HJ: Please put your phone away and carry these for me.
Changbin rolls his eyes, but still puts his phone into his back pocket and took the bags, clearly annoyed.
HJ: Thank you, you're a big help.
Jisung and his sons all head to the car together, driving to the park in order to meet up with Hyunjin who is just now returning from work. Once they park in the parking lot, Chan looked around the park, eyes sparkling.
BC: Where's Eomma?
Jisung looked around for her car, but it wasn't parked anywhere in sight.
HJ: She isn't here yet Channie, but don't worry, I know she will be soon.
BC: How soon?
HJ: She won't take long, have patience. Make sure you both put on your jackets, it's cold out tonight.
Everyone gets out of the car, trudging through the grass to find a suitable table where they can all eat. Chan pauses, standing still as he faces towards the swings.
BC: I wanna swing!
Chan then pointed eagerly to a swing set near a table.
HJ: Binnie, please set down the bags and go help push your little brother on the swings.
Changbin sets the bags on the table harshly. He then walks Chan to the swing set, and helps the boy get on.
HH: Hey Jisung!
Jisung looked up and saw Hyunjin smiling down at him, though still seeming exhausted from the day. He immediately stood up and hugged her, feeling her shoulders untense.
HJ: How was work?
HH: It was good! But I'm so tired now.
Hyunjin turned her eyes to the bags on the table, and they lit up, in a similar way to Chan.
HH: Ooo, Sushi!
Chan got on the swing and Changbin pushed him.
BC: Higher Hyung, higher!
Changbin ran back several feet, and then forward, the leverage giving him what it took to finally push his brother high enough. After this, he stood by and pulled out his smartphone, not interested in his brothers whining for just one more push. His brother only stopped his whining once he saw Hyunjin.
BC: Eomma's here!
SC: Yeah?
Changbin responded, in a monotoned voice not even bothered enough to look up from his screen.
BC: Hyung, help me get off!
SC: Give me a second Chan.
BC: Please Hyung!
SC: I said give me a second!
Since the swing had slowed down because Chan hasn't been pushed for some time, he made an attempt to jump off, falling down on the wood chips. Hyunjin and Jisung saw what happened, they looked at each other, giving the other a worried glance before running over.
HH: Channie are you okay?
BC: It hurts!
Chan had tears running down his cheeks, and Hyunjin wiped them away as Jisung looked at his knee noticing a small scrape.
HJ: It's just a scrape, nothing to be concerned about.
HH: But what if there's splinters on him?
HJ: Let's just get him cleaned up first.
Hyunjin nodded standing up and holding out her hand for Chan to take in order to help him get up from the ground.
HH: Can you walk okay sweetheart?
Chan nodded, wiping his still tear stained face with his arm as they walked to the table. Hyunjin had Chan sit down, and they both waited for Jisung to return with the med kit which was always left in the car for such emergencies. Changbin stood frozen, watching the scene play out, feeling guilt build up inside, disappointed in himself for being the cause of his little brother's minor injury.
SC: If I only helped Chan off he wouldn't have gotten hurt.
He mumbled this to himself, trying to stay calm, but felt even worse knowing that his parents would be mad at him. He walked to the table and stood behind Chan, biting his lower lip before speaking.
SC: I'm sorry Chan...
Chan looked up at Changbin and smiled weakly at him.
BC: It's okay Hyung, I forgive you.
Hyunjin smiled at seeing her sons make-up. Jisung soon returned pulling out alcohol cleaning pads from the kit.
HJ: This might sting a bit.
Chan nodded, bracing himself, closing his eyelids tightly as if it would keep him from feeling what comes next.
Jisung gently cleaned Chan's knees, and Chan winced, his knees moving away from the pad.
HJ: I'm sorry it hurts Chan.
BC: It's okay Appa.
Jisung continued to clean off Chan's knees and afterwards took a minute to closely inspect them for splinters.
HJ: Luckily there aren't any splinters or pieces of dirt in it.
Jisung pulled out band aids and placed them on Chan's knees.
HH: Want me to give them a kiss so they can feel better?
Chan nodded and smiled, some of his usual enthusiasm coming back. Hyunjin leaned down and kissed each of his knees, and remained sitting down below him afterwards.
HH: There, how do you feel now Chan?
BC: Better.
Jisung smiled, standing up and handing everyone trays of sushi, waiting a moment for Hyunjin to stand and then sit down before handing hers to her.
