One Year Ago
Joy and her friends were walking home from school as they did every evening chatting about things of interests and school gossip eventually the group splits up and says goodbye to go their separate ways home leaving Joy on her own on the empty suburban street
Her home was only 15mins away but when she was with her friends it ended up being a 30min walk to pass the time since her folks didn't get home till 6pm and she got home around 5:30pm looking down at her phone she noticed she let too much time go by and it was actually 6:30pm
"Holy Crap! Mom is gonna be so mad at me" she jogged the rest of the way home passing waving to her neighbors nearby and finally arriving home opening the door she noticed the keys were still in it "That's not like my parents to leave keys in the door" she mumbles to herself
Sitting on the couch,a glass of wine in hand sat her mother "Oh you're finally home how was your day?" "It was fine I'm really tired but I'm sorry for being late" she grinned at her sat down her wine and motioned for her to sit down with her "it's alright honey come relax with me for a moment"
She leaned into her moms shoulder embracing her while matching her breathing she looked up at her mom to see her mom with a sinister grin on her face "What's wrong mommy?" Joy jumps up from the couch "Nothing my Baby come sit down with me and relax" the mother beckons her daughter
A cold chill went up the young girls spine "You know what Where's dad I forgot to give him something" she walked into the kitchen her mother following close behind "My sweet baby I'm right here" her head snapped to the door to the hallway her father walked toward her also dawning a sinister smile
At this point she was afraid she no longer felt safe with her "Parents" "What's wrong JoJo you don't look well?" "I'm gonna head to bed I think I need to lay down" Joy rushes up the stairs but not before looking into her parents bedroom that was cracked open she pushed the door open to a horrible sight
There laid her real parents who were dead their bodies torn open like an animal attacked them she screamed only for it to be muffled by the rough hand of her "Mother" she was pulled by her hair and thrown to the floor the two people glared down at her "Lord Dio sent us to take care of you before you knew of your power" spoke her father
"He will finally put an end to the Joestar bloodline for good!" The people showed themselves for who they really were they were Shapeshifting Demons with sharp teeth, nails and bloodshot eyes "GET AWAY FROM ME!" She ran to her bedroom but didn't close the door in time for the female demon to jump in the room with her
The woman lunged for her getting on top of her holding her arms down biting down on her neck injecting her blood into her. Joy was able to free her one arm she felt around for anything to help her and found her scissors and stabbed them through the woman's neck stabbing her over and over
She got up scissors clutches in hand ready to fight off the other attacker he grabbed her from behind breathing in her ear "I'll be back for you but before I go I'm gonna have some fun"
Hours later
The police found Joy on the brink of death scratches and bruises on her body she was taken to the hospital where she was questioned about what happened due to shock she was hysterical and was to stay with a family member from then on she never set foot in her home ever again
Current Day
Joy's POV
I'm finally eighteen which meant I was able to move on my own although I didn't really wait I've been on the run ever since I was seventeen not from the police but from the psych ward my Aunt forced me into to collect my family's insurance money I ended up breaking out of there a few months before my birthday and I've been traveling ever since I've had no sense of family since I basically had to kill off my old identity to be safe which is how I ended up in this little town of Morioh thousands of miles from my original home
Yet standing right in front of me is this tall blue haired Baboon claiming I'm his long lost family member after seeing my star birthmark while I was walking around town "Sorry to frighten you let me introduce myself I'm Jonathan Joestar" he held out his hand for me to shake I was still a little shy and he's like three times my size he's pretty intimidating
"My name is Star my last name is Joestar" I answered shyly messing with my fingers. Jonathan gasped loudly "We share the same last name and birthmark I have to show you to the others!" He grabbed my arm and dragged me with him surprisingly I didn't run away I just followed this stranger
We arrived to his extravagant mansion where he told me he and his family lives "Hey everyone come down here I have someone to show you!" He yelled one a matter of seconds another tall buff man with dark hair flew down the stairs "What is it now you wanker I was in the middle of a card game with Caesar?" I poke my head from around Jonathan and meet eyes with the man
"Hey there Cutie! The name's Joesph Joestar what's your's" I hid behind JoJo again "Aye what's the matter with you don't run away from a conversation!" He pokes his head around Jonathan's body to get my attention I squealed and hid my face into his back
"Stop it Joesph you're scaring her!" I ran away from him bumping into a man wearing all black glaring down at me "Move Bitch!" I jumped back bumping into A guy with a pompadour I mumbled a sorry and rush back over to Jonathan's side trying to hide behind his body
"If you're all done scaring her I'd like for you guys to meet our long lost cousin Star" he nudged me in front of him "The one that scared you was Joesph, The one wearing all black is Jotaro and the one with the fancy hair is Jouske" I waved "How do you know shes our family?" Jotaro grumbles JoJo nudges me and I show them my birthmark on my upper back
"Welp that's a Joestar if I ever seen one" Joesph picks me up hugging me "Can we keep her she's so cutee" I struggle to get out of his arms "I wouldn't mind having her stay with us but it would be her choice if she'd like to stay Jhonathan refers to me
"I'm not too sure about staying with people I just met plus I have a place of my own but I wouldn't mind visiting family if that's the case" I look at Joesph who's giving me puppy eyes saying "Please stay" "Fine I'll move in" "YAAAAYYY" "Joesph stop before you crush her!!"
