Chapter 00: Introduction

Start from the beginning

"So... what do you think, Ate?"

"You know that you can do everything that you like as long as you're not overdoing it, right?" kalmado kong sagot kahit gusto kong umapila sa mga pina-plano niya.

"You're the weirdest and the best, Natsumi!" she said, imitating our Papa's voice.

"Going upstairs already?!

He's wearing a gray sleeveless shirt which reveals his toned arms. He's leaning on the railings, slightly looking down on the road.

Who's this man? The old hag had left. Should I be happy?

Since there's a lamp post beside their house, kitang-kita ko ang kabuuan niya. The only thing that lights my presence is the brightness that is coming from the moon.

The guy waved his hand on me, the other elbow is still on the railings. Napataas ang kilay ko. He doesn't look like who'll approach first. Napatitig na lang ako sa kaniya.

"Hi!" he shouted then waved again his hand, but this time, merrier.

I suck at socializing.

"Hi! Yuhooo! I'm Haru! You are?!" he introduced himself, waving his hand higher. Nakatayo na siya ngayon, wide smile is plastered on his face.

Of course, I won't tell my name. My average voice won't reach his eardrums.

"Are you really that quiet and cold?!" sigaw niyang muli ngunit lalo lang kumunot ang noo ko. Ano bang problema nito?

That made me stop and think, even I find it very nonsense.

"You know what, I've dreamt of you last night! You were crying! And I asked you what was your problem, you just slapped me real hard! Then the next thing I knew, I was already awake!" pagku-kwento niya, mas malakas na ang boses ngayon kumpara kanina.

What a weirdo!

I closed the sliding doors and covered it with the thick curtains. I also pulled down the blinds of my windows. I switched my light on and went on my bed.

I was about to lie down on my bed when I suddenly noticed something is missing.

I opened my drawer and grabbed the dreamcatcher necklace inside it. I wore it immediately and kissed it before finally lying down on my bed.

Tears rolled down on my cheeks as an image of him flashed when I closed my eyes.

No going out of the house means...

No chances of paying him a visit.

No paying him a visit means punishment.

Punishment means aching everyday.

Aching everyday won't help me get over the things I should get over.

Being stuck with it is hell.
