JENNIE'S POV

I really wish this all was only just a dream.If it's really is , then i'm begging for anyone to wake me up from this nightmare

sitting here with my dad in this luxury restaurant , while waiting for my future wife to come just made me feel nervous and scared at the same time.i was finding everything as an excuses to cancel the dinner with manoban's family , but i'm dealing with my dad so it would be impossible for me to escape

"Dad , they are not coming.let's just go i'm tired already" i plead , my clammy hand clenching tightly into a fist.He doesn't even look at me and after a seconds of getting no response from him , i sigh heavily and ran my hand through my hair getting frustrated

This can't be real , in a few more days i'm going to be someone's wife?

Lalisa manoban's wife to be exact

The girl that was so crazy over me back then since high school , an annoying brat.sometimes i wonder why i have such an unlucky fate in my life?

During high school , she was courting me even if i told her to stop.there won't be even a day missed without my locker be filled with a love letter and a flower from her , even if i threw it on the floor in front of her eyes , she just won't stop

And my suffering won't just end there

Because she entered into the same university as me.But after she earned her master and choose to continue her life by working in business , i didn't see her for 2 years , but my dad often told me that she sometimes came to our house.since she's kind of one of the most important person that would give a good benefits to my father's company , she would come to have a private discussion with my dad.Specifically , he's not working under my father , but they both agreed to cooperated together since each of them would give a huge profit to their own company

Yes , who thought that brat would become a successful businesswoman now , at her young age , i could say that it's pretty impressive for her to reach that far

But it's kind of weird, i never see her even once , i don't know if she really came at the time i wasn't at home or if she's really good at hiding herself from me.Maybe she was embarrased to show herself after realize how stupid she acted back then in front of me

"they are late for 10 minutes now! can't we just go?" I hissed , looking boredly at my dad.he give me a stern look that caused me to secretly rolled my eyes.i lean my back against the chair and crossed my arms , heaving a deep sigh

"I want you to behave jennie , don't embarrased me in front of them" he said firmly which i just replied with a nodded

After a few curse words i muttered under my breath , finally i saw a guy wearing a black formal suit walk to us which i know he's the manoban. there's a waitress beside him , leading him the way.My dad stood up that made me to do the same and bowed politely to him

But he came alone?

"I'm sorry for coming late kim , me and my daughter have a few errands that we need to do , she'll come in a few more minutes after she done" he said apologetically

Tsk , such a selfish person.She care more about her works when she have an important dinner with my dad

"It's okay manoban , i know she's a busy woman" my dad laugh and make a gesture to him to have a seat

"I'm sorry in behalf her , she should atleast show a good first impression to jennie" he said with a sigh.i smile reassuringly and shook my head

"It's okay mr manoban , she must be busy" as much as i want to curse her in front of her father , i held it back because i know i would get thrown out from this restaurant by my dad
