I'm could barely contain my excitement! I can't believe I actually did it, I couldn't stop the smirk covering my face as I held my head on my arms whilst looking at the sky as I walked.

I had gathered my courage and asked Amy to Twinkle park, and she even stated crying in joy whilst shouting "yes! yes! yes! yes! yes!" In pure joy, with her arms wrapped around me and straggling me.

I've never seen such happiness come from one person. Or at least I never thought it possible.

We had stated going out 2 weeks ago, but this was the first time I had actually asked her out. The thought makes me blush, so I start to run in a random direction.

Dodging people, trees, and stomping on badbics I continued to pick up the speed. I start yelling out in joy, I never knew that asking one simple question would bring such happiness. I'll be doing it a lot more often, something for Amy to look forward to then.

In that moment I felt like nothing could go wrong.

Amy's Pov:
I was currently at home hugging a cushion to my face trying to muffle out my screams off joy.

This is the best! I start to laugh uncontrollably, I had been asking Sonic for ages to go out with me, marry me, every time I would see him I'd shout 'I love you!'

He had always denied me but now he had seen his feelings. I was close to giving up for real, when he says those magical words.

-FLASHBACK-

I go out side Tails workshop looking for Sonic wondering if I could get him anything, purely for the excuse for being around him.

He was, as I had guessed, on the roof. I look at how handsome he is. I can't help but blush slightly. I'm never going to be able to get used to how breathe taking he looks.

Even more with him wearing that new scarf that really suited him as well as the bandages which also look awesome. He tends to fiddle with it when he's nervous, yes I've picked up on that little detail...

He only came back 2 days ago, he had been gone for 3, 1/2 weeks and then suddenly came back. He was dealing with Eggman no doubt. He then came back with this new look, not many people took notice.

But of course I did because it suited him so well. I start to make my way up the roof and soon I reach the top, the evening light spread itself on Sonic and me, making it more relaxing.

"Hey Amy, what's up?" Sonic says casually when he noticed me

"Uh-I was just wondering if you wanted anything..." I trail off, why was I so nervous?

I bet it's cause the scarf makes him look a whole lot older and sexier, humph

"I'm fine thanks" he answers going back to relaxing whilst closing his eyes.

I can't help but be disappointed, recently I had an even stronger yearning to be around Sonic and he wasn't making an easy job of it.

"Sonic...?" I start unsure of what I'll actually say. He opens one eye and looks over.

"Yeah" he answers.

"Can I stay up here with you for a bit?" I ask quietly whilst looking to the side and fiddling with my hands. I can tell I'm blushing I'm just hoping that the evening light covers it up.

"Sure" he says with a large amount of enthusiasm, whilst patting the space beside him.

I sit down and hold my knees to my chest. Usually I loved being in Sonic's company but I felt really nervous. Was it because I had turned 16 just a month ago?
