First I go to PicsArt, I click on the + sign and add a picture that's the size of a Wattpad cover (512x800 or 1380x2160 for higher quality). It doesn't matter what the picture looks like since the two pictures I'm using will cover it.

I add the two pictures and make sure not to click apply —

Then, I make the pictures bigger and place one on the bottom half and the other in the upper half

Then, I make the pictures bigger and place one on the bottom half and the other in the upper half. Like this —

Then I click on one of the pictures (I chose the bottom one)and click on the tiny eraser at the top

Then I click on one of the pictures (I chose the bottom one)and click on the tiny eraser at the top.(highlighted in yellow)

I then click on erase, and move the hardness down

I then click on erase, and move the hardness down. The softer the eraser is, the better the blending will be (: I also make the eraser bigger by moving the size up.

Then, I start erasing the top of the picture, as I start getting lower, I move the opacity down, this will make the blending 100x times better

After I'm satisfied with how the background looks, I click on the checkmark and then apply it

Then I just add someone to the cover, text and that's it! I will go more in detailed about the other things in the next chapters since this one was only about the background
