The next day i was at the hospital waiting for John B to wake up, I was holding his hand, hoping he would wake up soon, I was thinking about how sarah looked at John B, she really cared about him
I was lost in my thoughts when I heard John B say "Ava?" immediately looked at him and smiled
"John B, hi, thank god youre okay, dont scare me like that again" i told him, he smiled at me and asked me what happened, I explained him and he nodded, then he said something i wasnt expecting
"So, youre dating JJ now, huh?" JB said
"No, we arent dating" i said, I felt his eyes on me and then I heard him say "Why? JJ told me what happened between you two" and i saw him smile
"Really?" i said chuckling "Yeah, Ava, he's my best friend he'll talk to me about girls, even if its you" said my brother looking at me in the eyes
I looked at him nervously and he said "Its okay, now what are you still doing here? Go get your man" we both chuckled
"You sure?" i asked him, he nodded "Okay, then, see you later"
I got up and opened the door, I saw Sarah sitting outside of the room
"Hey Ava, can we talk?" said Sarah
"sure" i said
"I brought you some clothes so you can change" she said handing me a pair of clothes and smiled at me
"Look, I know you dont like me, but I dont think ive done something to make you not like me, or have i? If I have can you please tell me, I want to make things right between us" Sarah said and gave me a sweet smile
She was being genuine and i was feeling nice so i said "you havent, but Kie doesnt like you, so you know, girl code" i said "But im okay with being on good terms with you, now that I see youre close to my brother im guessing i'll be seeing you around" i smiled at her and i saw her blush at the mention of John B
"Talking about John B, how can you spend so much time with him? Its like baby sitting" i said and chuckled, Sarah laughed and said "I dont know, he's just different, you know" then she smiled at me
I smiled back at her and saw her stick her hand out "so, good terms?" she asked me
"good terms" i said and shook her hand "Im sorry, can I hug you?" she asked and we both chuckled "Sure" i said and hugged her
"Hey, um sarah, just treat him right, please" i told her not wanting to see my brother get heartbroken "I will" she said, we let go and said our goodbyes
I quickly changed into the clothes sarah had given me and headed to JJ's, with my heart beating fast, I dont know what I was gonna say but i knew we had to talk about it, I arrived at his house and knocked on the door
"Hi princess, come in" said JJ as he opened and the door and smiled at me
"Thanks" i replied
"Whats up?" he asked "I wanted to talk to you" i said honestly "Go ahead" he said
