"What is the problem child?" Asked the goddess

I sighed and layed on the ground to watch the stars. I just somehow hoped Ashton would be doing the same.

"I moved house a couple of weeks ago and I am going to this new school. I have a heap of new friends and even some girl friends, but I can't help but notice they are hiding something from me. When I asked them they told me that it was really my best friends job to tell me" I sighed "If you understand what I just said"

"I understand what you said but why won't he tell you?" She asked tilting her head

I found it funny when the goddess talked because the wolf never made movements with it's mouth. The goddess spoke in your head but the wolf still shared the expressions, it was funny

"Well he wants to know my real name. We made a pact, if he told me his biggest secret I would tell him my name. I never really cared about it until now because I really want to know but I am not ready to tell him" I sighed

"My child your never going to be ready for anything in your life, no one is. I am not ordering you to tell him, its all up to you" She replied with a whine

"I just-Ugh" I let out a frustrated groan

"What is this boy's name?" She asked

"Ashton Pierce" I sighed

""I know that boy, very handsome one isn't he?" She mused

"Yeah, he is like the non-green hulk" I smiled

"You have feelings for this boy?" She asked

"Pfft no" I lied

"My child you can lie to everyone but me, now tell me the truth" She scolded playfully

"Okay" I whined "I'm not sure if I do like him or not"

"You do, and it will only get stronger" She made a wolf grin like she knew something

"And why is that?" I asked

"Because of the fates" She smiled

"The fates? They exist?" I asked

"Well not really, I do the intertwining of the fates or people" She replied

"And whats my fate?" I asked

"Love" She answered simply

I noticed the sun was making an appearance and I sighed, time flies when I am with her

"I must leave now my child" She spoke looking at the retreating moon.

"Goodbye" I whispered quietly

The wolf came over to me and I hugged her before the wolf disappeared into thin air.

"Remember what I said, my child" She whispered

I made my way down the mountain and back to my campsite where I packed everything back into my hiking bag.

I hiked back to my car which was easy because I always mark my way back home with a special cut that I put in trees

I wasn't tired so I travelled home in one go and got home early before school.

My dad wasn't home but a note was on the bench

Brodie

I left early this morning because there is a lot of work waiting at my desk.

I will see you when I see you

Love, dad
