Ryder started to walk over in our direction. Brianna and Andrea shift in their seats to make it less obvious they were looking at him

"Fuck how's my hair?" Brianna whispers to Lisa. "Fucking perfect."

"Hey guys." Ryder greets us and he stands at the head of the table. "What's up?" I was the only one who spoke

"I realized I never said welcome back so I thought I'd come over ask how your summer was." "Thanks. It was great."

I waved and he jogged back over to his friends

"Lucky." Brianna let out. "Shut up."

"How are you and Ivan going Andrea?" She asks. Lisa jumps in. "Oh yeah, I was gonna ask what happened with that."

"We just decided to break up. It just wasn't the same anymore. But were still really good friends." "Does he know that?" Lisa asks. "What do you mean?"

"I don't know, maybe I'm reaching but when we're in the hallway, he still sorta looks at you like...he's still...into you." "I don't think so. Plus, I kinda have a new crush."

"Oh my god tell us." Brianna jumps to her side. Andrea smiles and her cheeks start to blush. She looks around the courtyard and her eyes stop at someone

We all turn around to see who she could be looking at. I spot him. "Tyler Cruz?"

Brianna gasps. "She's for the team I see?" Andrea laughs. "No no, chill it's not like that. I've always thought he was cute but now it's just..."

She could tell by the look on Brianna and Lisa's face that they were unimpressed with her choice of men

"Alex, what do you think?" I look back over to get a better view

The last time I saw him, he had a short hair cut and wore baggy hoodies. Now, he has hair down to his ears, hes added jewelry to his wardrobe, he's in a band and he now skates
