"Okay, so like, what are the rules?" Mina asked. "Are we figuring out who has the best taste in the class, or just the overall coolest?"

"We're actually doing this?" Jiro and I exclaimed together, eyes wide with disbelief as we looked at Mina. She couldn't actually be serious... could she?

"Ah, this doesn't have to be a contest," Ojiro said, sweat-dropping at Mina's seriousness.

However, it did nothing to quell Mina's rising excitement; and that of Mineta's, if his salivating mouth and dazed expression wasn't a dead give away. I cringed at that. 'He's probably thinking of how he can just slide in inconspicuously with all of the guys and their bruised egos. Well guess what, gremlin: I've got my eyes on you.'

As much as I didn't like the thought of Mineta eyeing my room, I couldn't help but feel excited along with my classmates. After everything that had gone down with All for One and the training camp, a friendly little competition was what we needed to blow off some steam. Sighing, I turned to see a dazed Shoto walking towards me.

"What do you think of all this, Shoto?" I asked as he stopped beside me. "This is a little exciting, isn't it? I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's rooms."

Shoto didn't respond, only scratching his chin while he stared off in thought. I sweat-dropped. 'He didn't hear a single thing I said, did he? '

The ding for the elevator echoed through the corridor, signalling we could climb in and go up to the next floor: Floor Four.

"Come on, Shoto."

With that, I pulled my bi-colour haired friend towards the lift, piling in as much as possible with everyone else. It was a tight squeeze, tighter than I had anticipated. Somehow, Shoto and I ended up at the back of the ridiculously tiny elevator, with my back pressed against the wall and his chest against mine. Dé ja vu, much?

"S-Sorry," he said.

"D-Don't worry," I said in return, feeling an irritating blush make its way up my S/C neck. "I-It's not your fault. Sato's in here, too."

"Sorry guys!"

Fortunately for us, the ten seconds it took from the third floor to the fourth were very brief, and I was breathing fresh air, once again. We all started wondering down to the first room.

"Let's see," Ochaco said from her position at the front of the pack. "Who else is on the fourth floor?"

I thought for a moment, a vague image of the room allocation coming to mind.

"There's Bakugou, Kirishima and Shoji," I said, earning an agreeable hum for my spiky red-headed friend behind me.

"Where is Bakugou?" Iida asked.

Kirishima sighed, rubbing his head as if he had a headache. "Eh, he thought this was lame, so he went back to his room to sleep. I could use some zees, too-"

"Well then, we'll do your room next!"

We all jumped as Toru and Mina raced past, leaving us all in their dust as they ran for Kirishima's dorm room. 'Damn,' I thought, tiredly trudging after the excited pair. 'Those two are always full of energy, I swear.'

I couldn't help but laugh at my own little joke and the irony it held, earning a confused glance from Shoto.

"What are you laughing at?" he asked.

A few more chuckles escaped my lips before responding. "It was nothing. Don't worry about it."

"Were you laughing at your own joke in your head? Please don't tell me it was that goldfish one-"
