💕 Neighbors 💕 Part 4

"Here are the 2 Spaghetti and Meatballs and the  Sparkling Water. ." Valentino placed everything on the table.

"Enjoy." He walked off.

"Howcome you only ordered two?" I asked with a confused look on my face.

"Each plate for each couple, It's not rocket science Zoey." Chad laughed and started to feed Jae.

Was I- on a date, with NOAH? No, we were just supporting Jae, She met Chad on the beach, he could've been a psychopath and killed her. So we had to come. Right?

"Here." Noah gave me a fork so that I could eat my side of the Spaghetti and Meatballs and he grabbed another fork so that he could eat his side of the Spaghetti and Meatballs.

I was eating my food it was really delicious, but I had a sudden ergue to look up so I did.
I looked up and saw Jae and Chad kissing.

I know right that escalated quickly.

I looked over at Noah, he was struggling to get everything on one fork, he wanted a little bit of meatball, some spaghetti and lots of pasta sauce.

I patted his shoulder.

"let's give them privacy." I winked at Noah and we walked out of the restaurant and sat on a nearby bench.

"That escalated quickly!" I chuckled at his comment.

"Jae has always dreamed of dating a sufer and her dream is coming true." I looked over at Noah who was looking up at the stars.

"They are so beautiful." Noah thought outloud.

"Who, Jae and Chad?" I giggled in confusion

"No-
he giggled

he pointed at one big star and I looked up to where he was hand guided me to look.

" - every ten seconds, that star stops shining and then 5 seconds later it shines again. It's almost like it's blinking. " He laughed at the last part of his sentence.

"Wow!" To be completely honest, I didn't know what star he was talking about, they all looked the same.

Noah's free hand, slowly started to rest on mine. He looked at me while I was trying to figure out which star he was pointing at.

"Zoey? -

I looked at him

"- um, how's, um- science? "

he was nervous, I could feel it.

" it's actually going well, I have a great lab partner."
I nudged him with my elbow.

he giggled, but it seemed very sarcastic. he had this very nervous look on his face. like, that look you have on your face when -
you - want - to - tell - your - crush - you like - them...

"Noah?, Do you, like me?"

" Why do you ask?"he removed his hand for mine, my hand felt cold immediately.

"I don't know, maybe, it's because I kind of have a crush on you."

I instantly regreted, saying that,but I was preparing myself for rejection.I needed an answer from Noah but I didn't want it to be the wrong one.

"Zoey, You're a very nice person and your personality is unique, you're a fun person to be around -

My jaw dropped, I thought he was going to to say he had a girlfriend or he wasn't ready for a relationship.

I closed my eyes, my thoughts were making my head hurt, I wanted to kiss noah, I really did,but I've never kissed a boy before.

Lost in my thoughts, I felt something on my forehead.

I opened my eyes,

Noah pecked my forehead

I blushed, my cheeks were probably so red.

We got lost in each others eyes, he was so precious, his lips, his eyes, his personality his hair. Everything was just perfect about him.

Shoot, I remembered we were on a double date.

"We should probably go inside, Jae and Chad are probably wondering where we are." Noah and I held hands walking back into the restaurant.
