A warm breeze slipped into the bush. It played around with the leaves, making their green color a gold one. But the wind become soon bored playing with the grass and leaves.
It now moved its movement towards a young fox. The fox was a magnificent orange. An orange the breeze hadn't seen before.
His eyes were closed and he slept deeply, probably dreaming of catching birds of all feathers and mammals of all sizes.
The breeze was impressed with how long the fox could snooze so soundly. So the wind began to stir his fur and twirl around his nose. Yet still the fox hadn't opened its eyes. The breeze thought if itself couldn't wake the fox up, then maybe another could.
A ripe leaf had fallen to the grass floor and the breeze had picked it up quickly. The leaf soared like a boat in the waves but more smoothly. Eventually, the breeze let the leaf circle down to the fox's nose.
As soon as the leaf was rested on his nose, the fox awoke. His eyes shot open and now the breeze could see them.
They were as vibrant as an ocean was blue. The green from them almost seemed to send rays of light and the breeze could almost see through his dark, black pupils.
Suddenly, the fox's head turned sideways and his ears perked up. There was a distant bark outside of the comfort of the bush. But the fox didn't think twice about leaving his safety and went straight out, through the leaves and twigs.
The brightness of the sun blinded the fox and the barking become more clearer. As soon as he opened his beautiful eyes, the fox could see a figure not too far off in the sharp grass.
The figure seemed almost familiar. The sun from behind it gave the figure an almost creepy look. For you couldn't see the front of its face.
"Juniper!" The figure called to the fox. He blinked in confusion. He didn't know this...thing. How could it have known him. It made the fox a little fearful and he backed up.
Unfortunately, that didn't stop the figure. As it galloped across the grass feild and stood face to face with the fox.
After a second of complete stillness and horror, the fox could finally see who the figure was.
"Ember?"
