"Hinata! Get up your late!"

The orange haired boy fell out of his bed and looked at the clock. He had five minutes max.

He quickly got up and got dressed as fast as he could. He didnt bother on eating breakfast or even fixing his hair. He almost left his bag home but luckily his mom reminded him.

The boy bolted to the school as fast as his legs could carry him but unfortunately, he did end up being late.

"Sit down..." the teacher sighed. Hinata nodded before sitting down in his seat.

He heard a quiet laugh from behind him.

Baka-yama...

Hinata huffed and glared at Kageyama. He gave him a sly smile in return.

Hinata kicked him in the leg from under the desks and Kageyama did the same but 10x harder.

The teacher stopped them before things could escalate.

The second class had ended Hinata went to Kageyama since they usually walked together literally everywhere.

"That was not cool" Hinata said as he crossed his arms.

Kageyama just rolled his eyes before opening the gym door for Hinata to go in first.

It was like any normal day. School and then volleyball. Nothing else.

Totally normal.

Well, almost.

"Hinata!" Sugawara yelled in fear as he ran over to his side.

He had ran into a wall and then tripped right after. To make things worse that caused him to have blood gushing out of his nose.

"Can I still play volleyball?" Hinata said through the pain.

"Kageyama take him to the nurses office!" Sugawara basically ignored Hinata's question.

"Why me it's not like-" before Kageyama could even say anything he was interrupted by the devil himself.

"You heard what I said young man now go!" Sugawara scolded. Of course Kageyama helped the shorter boy up and began to take him to the nurses office.

Once the two got to the nurses office Kageyama couldnt help but feel uncomfortable. He was holding a tissue to Hinata's nose to stop the blood while he waited for the nurse to treat him next.

Touching Hinata made him feel all sick and his heart would start pounding. He didnt like it.

"Next!" The nurse yelled.

Hinata and Kageyama went into the office and Hinata sat on the bed. The nurse examined and did her thing right after.

"Well you should be fine but if you're still in pain see a docter" the nurse explained.

"Can I still play volleyball?" Hinata asked in a scared tone. That was his life....

"Maybe take a break for today but I'm sure you can be tomorrow"

The two boys thanked the nurse before making their way back to the gym. Luckily the bleeding had stopped after they left the office.

"Thanks Kageyama..." Hinata said quietly.

"Its fine dumbass..." Kageyama said.

There was then an awkward silence. Neither of them knew what to talk about nor how to even create small talk.

Once they got to the gym Sugawara immediately began interrogating Hinata on what happened. He was almost like a mother worried for their kid.

"I cant practice for today..." Hinata pouted.

"Its alright, just be careful next time" Daichi said before carrying on with practice.

Kageyama couldny focus. Not having Hinata by his side practicing felt weird. He hadn't noticed until now that Hinata brought energy to the room.

With him gone everything felt boring.

Kageyama got scolded a few times for not doing his receives correctly and not being fast enough.

The only thing on his mind was Hinata. He was worried for him...

Once practice had ended Kageyama began to walk home. But, Hinata wasnt there to walk with him.

Who knew that even a few hours without him felt lifeless.

Kageyama shook away his thoughts before going to his room.

He had to check up on him..

Kageyama: you okay?

Hinata: well...it looks like I have a broken nose

Kageyama: WHAT? CAN YOU STILL PLAY

Hinata: the doctor said that I cant for 2-3 weeks 😭😭

Kageyama: Ugh just great

Hinata: I already miss volleyball

Hinata: I'm gonna beat that wall up >:(

Kageyama: just get better soon dumbass

Hinata: my eyes are deceiving me, no way bakayama cares about me!

Kageyama: shut up!!!

Hinata: heehee

Hinata sighed as he put his phone down. More tears streamed down his face. No volleyball! That's not fair!

He had a practice game with Nekoma next week too.

The boy hugged his pillow and cried his heart out. He didnt want to miss out. He wanted to play with his team. He even had this whole plan with Kageyama too...

Stupid broken nose..
