"Ms. Davis. Ms. Davis!" I hear my teacher yell in the middle of her lecture
"Ah. Yes ma'am?" I reply sitting up straight
"Pay. Attention. This is your first warning" she says with a stern voice
"Yes ma'am.." I reply
"What the hell willow?" My friend calls out for me "you were zoning out.. again?!" She whispers
"It's nothing, I just didn't get enough sleep" I say
"College isn't fun, but you still need to sleep" she says hitting me on the head with her pencil
"Ok ok" I say looking at my phone
"Almost over.." I think to myself
"I know right" a boy with orange hair sitting behind me says
"What?" I ask turning over
"Oh, u said that it's almost over.." he reply's
"Oh.. I said that out loud??" I ask slightly laughing
"Yeah.. but I get it, I didn't expect the lectures to be so boring"
"I know right, I just want coffee" I say looking back down at my laptop
"Ah. I'm Conan by the way" he says, continuing the conversation
"Willow" I reply turning back around
"Willow? That's a cool name" he says picking his pen up
"Thanks" I say as I smile, typing my notes
"Oh, you like the Beatles?" He ask
"Huh?" I reply as I see him staring at my lock screen of my phone
"Oh yeah" I say looking down at it
"Me too, my dad used to play them all the time when I was younger" he begins, "what's your favorite song by them?"
"Oh. Yesterday" I reply
"That's a good one, mine is help" he says
"Oh, that's my brothers favorite too" I say, his answer catching my attention
"That's all for today, remember to turn in the assignment by 11:30 tonight!" I hear Mrs.walker announce
"C'mon kiwi, we're meeting up with everyone else" I hear my friend, lili, say as she get get up from her chair
"Kiwi?" Conan ask looking up at me as I put my things away
"It's a long story" I laugh "it was nice meeting you Conan" I say as I put on my backpack
"Uhm. Willow!" I hear Conan say as I begin to walk away
"Yeah?" I say as I turn around
"Can I maybe. Uhm.. have your number" he ask not making eye contact with me
"Ask me again tomorrow" I reply with a soft smile
"Yeah. Definitely" he says, as he smiles back
"Who's that?" Lili ask as we walk towards the door
"Conan" I say looking at my phone
"He's pretty cute, don't you think so?" She ask
"Mhmm" I say, not paying much attention to my answer
"Kiwi??" Lili says loudly
"Uh yeah? Sorry" I say putting my phone away
"Conan, he's cute right?" She repeats her question
"Oh. Uhm yeah sure I guess?" I reply
"Willow, Lili!" I hear one of my friends call out
