This is a poem that I wrote for my mini task. This also got picked to be one of the first batch of poems posted in our org page! (I joined a writing org in our school).

A Whisper to the Ocean
O, deep blue ocean, staring into the depths of my soul,
Hear me.
O, calm winds blowing and birds flying across the heavens,
Comfort me.
O, pure clouds floating and the sound of ships and boats sailing,
Save me.
With silence and solitude in the seemingly perpetual place of blue
Remind me of how reclusive I am from the noise of the islands;
When boats sail away to reach the ends of their desires and purposes
I always get to stay with the enchanting gaze of the domain of seafarers
Still weeping, wandering, and seeking for permanence in this world
The beauty of the ocean reminds me of the smile that I just lost;
O, majestic yet terrifying waves that crash into the shore,
Persuade me.
O, seafarers who dwell into the vastness of the enchanting ocean,
Befriend me.
O, enigmatic color of the ocean that reflects my face as I gaze at it,
Comfort me.
O, deep blue ocean that captivates the heart of the lone wolf,
Unveil the desires and fears of the wandering soul looking down at you.
