20th of August in Avaria
I have just received a new mission from my mother, the Queen. My little brother, Carmeiro seems to be captured by humans. How? Don't ask me. He usually never gets past our borders. Admiral is going undercover with me tomorrow. This would have been an easy case. But nana is suspecting something. There is more going on there than we know.
My mission: Get my brother back home and find out what they're hiding from us.
It's early in the morning. The sun hasn't rised yet. Sègrediã is already awake and packing his stuff together. After that he walks up to the palace gates and waits there for Admiral to join him. Admiral is the Queen's Yilão, a sort of best friend. He is a blue lobster from the blue lobster realm, Aquayir, next to Avaria and deep in the ocean. Blue lobsters from Aquayir are very strong. Stronger than Avarians. With their claws, they can easily kill someone by parting the upper body from the lower body. Although they don't kill anyone if not necessary. Sègrediã himself is an Avarian elf. That actually means: half elven, half Avarian. But for an Avarian, he is strong. Like his foster mother and aunts.
While he's waiting, he watches the sun to rise. The ocean in the distance on his left side is calm and the small waves softly hit the beach. It's the most beautiful sight and Sègrediã is glad he lives here.
"After all these years, Avaria has never lost his beauty." Sègrediã turns his head to see Admiral standing behind him. "No, it hasn't." Blue lobsters like Admiral are immortal, like Avarians and snakes and elves. Admiral lives here for a long time now, he was already here before Sègrediã's birth. Like Slish. Slish is a snake from Sslassia, the snake realm who protects our boundaries that doesn't border the ocean. He is the Queen's Almalão, also a sort of best, loyal friend.
Sègrediã's POV
"Time to go, Sègrediã." I face him first. "Right." And then I get moving. I walk to my horse and saddle him up.
We are now traveling for like a week or two. We have just stopped for the second time to make camp. Tomorrow we would reach our destination. Avarians can travel fast and a lot without stopping. Admiral doesn't ride a horse of course but he is able to walk very long distances. Admiral is building a campfire while I gather some food. After we've eaten I grab my notebook and write further.

We're now stopping for the second time to make camp. Tomorrow we will reach our destination. I have talked to Carmeiro through our mind-bond. Like most Avarians can. They haven't hurt him that bad yet. But Carmeiro told me that entering the fortress where they keep him and rescuing him would be a difficult task. There are lots of guards guarding the fortress so we must go undercover. He also told me that they are definitely hiding something and that whatever they're up too, it would be big. They are planning on attacking the Woodland Realm for some reason. Some reason Carmeiro would be involved with.
My plan A.
Admiral and I will go inside as General and Admiral from a human town called Paraguay, somewhere in the far east. My name would be General Garwan. And Admiral would only be addressed as the Admiral. We would need another strong army to help us when we would be getting war over three months. Hopefully they would work together with us.
Plan B.
Call Lusa and let her sent our army over to threaten them and make them tell us all of their secrets.
So that would be my plan. I lay down against a tree and soon I fall asleep. The morning tide has raised. The birds are singing. When I feel the sun stinging in my eyes, I know that a new morning has begun. I always like traveling, still I miss the cool summer breeze of the ocean and the sweet tastes of the Avarian food. "We must reach the fortress before sunset." I gather my stuff again and jump on my horse. Admiral follows me while we travel down the road.
