I dropped to the floor effortlessly just as the music began to fade. Dripping in sweat, I used the little amount of energy I had left to reach over to my water bottle, drinking from it almost instantly. After drinking almost every ounce of water in the bottle, I let out a loud sigh of exhaustion. That was one hell of a dance session.
I turn my head to the side, staring into the mirror intensely. I've almost finished the choreography I was recently instructed to create for the company's newest boy group... Stray kids? I think that was the name.
Just as I stood up to prepare to leave, I received a call from my boss, the CEO.
*On the phone*
CEO
"How is the choreography coming along? The boys are eager to meet you and begin practice."
Y/N
"I've almost finished, I just need to add a few more movements at the end to complete it."
CEO
"That's great. Why not meet with the boys at the company tomorrow, and figure it out together?"
Y/N
"That sounds like a plan."
*End of phone call*
I hang up with high spirits, smiling like crazy as I dance around funnily in front of the studio mirror. I'm SO happy to be finally finishing this choreography. As it's for their first comeback, it's very important that they have an incredible choreography to match their incredible song, so it was indeed tiring to create.
This wasn't my first dance project, however it was the first time I'd made a choreography for such popular artists. I was both excited and terrified.
*The next day*
As I slowly make my way to the group's dance studio, my legs feel like jelly. I guess it's fair to say that such a situation is incredibly nerve-wracking. As their studio is on the fifth floor, I decide to take the elevator. While walking into the elevator, I decided to check the time on my phone, and while doing so, I accidentally walked head-first into something.
I wince while rubbing my head before looking up, noticing I had just walked straight into a tall guy. I gasp in shock, before quickly bowing my head and apologising.
"I'm so sorry!" I say, the panic in my voice extremely noticeable.
He laughed casually. "It's fine, it was clearly an accident."
His gentle voice was somewhat reassuring, and so I sighed out of relief.
The rest of the elevator ride was filled with awkward silence, as the two of us looked around absent-mindedly, unsure of what to do or say. It seemed we were heading to the same floor.
Before I knew it, the elevator pinged as it reached the fifth floor and the doors opened at either side. From them, emerged a group of guys holding a banner that read, 'Nice to meet you, Y/N'.
