Ed wakes up one morning after drinking a nice big glass of milk because winry said it would help him grow big and strong. But when he wakes up he realizes something was different about him but he didn't realize what until he got out of bed and lost his balance because his auto mail leg was now shorter than his actual real leg. He realized it finally happened and he was so happy to finally be tall but he knew it was going to hurt when winry had to readjust his automail to fit His new height better. After winry did some tinkering and reattached Ed's new automail which winry wanted to mention it was her best work yet Ed goes off to tell a certain someone little did Ed know what really happens (insert back story to how this happpened)
Back story
What had really happened when Ed went to sleep was that Dr Heinz doofenshmirtz an evil German sciencetist shrunk the whole town to be just a bit smaller to make him self seem taller because as a kid in Gimmelschtump Drusselstein all the kids there were just a bit taller than him and would always tease him about it so to get his revenge he made everyone just a bit smaller than him but he didn't account for winry's amazing automail skills that protected Ed from the blast.

Ed went to visit the fucking bitch of a person who always teased him for being short "mustang" but as he was walking towards mustangs mansion he was noticing that everyone seemed different just how he felt this morning but couldn't put his finger on why until he got to mr. Bitch himselfs mustang's mansion. And when he saw mustang shorter than him Ed teased him with all the jokes mustang has been saying to him for the past few years but after getting his good laugh and time of fame they both realized something is wrong and they need to figure what happened and how to fix it .
Mustang ask Ed if he did anything different last night and Ed responds I did drink milk! Mustang then responds Got milk ! Because now mustang was a bit thirsty after having to listen to Ed for five seconds telling his story feeling like it was never going to end. Mustang in a serious tone says that can't be it I drink milk all the time .
Ed then asks mustang if he did anything different last night and mustang said no but was kinda shy about it Ed pushes the question again and then mustang confessed that he was watching a show about people playing volleyball with his best friends Armstrong and rize and they were all crying togther
So mustang and Ed deduced that it must be an outside force at play here and who else would fuck with Roy mustang and his sidekick Ed Elric no other than the Germans which at the time German science was the best in the world. So mustang hopped on his new alchemy created hover motorcycle with a side car that Ed would usually sit in but since mustang was too short to drive Ed had too. Ed was an ok driver but did hit a few people by accident no major injuries thou they were going to drive to the only person in this town who was more evil than the humancilous and his name was dr Heinz Doofenshmirtz but when they walked in to ask him about it they fell in to his antil alchemy trap that took away their ability to use alchemy so with out alchemy they couldn't escape this trap without the help of Alphonse
Ed used his telapathic brotherly connection to connect to Alphonse and told him "mustang and I are in trouble and got trapped by the evil scientist dr Heinz doofenshmirtz please save us your are only hope " Alphonse attaches his alchemy powered jet pack to his back and flies In to fort dr Heinz Doofenshmirtz evil plan little did Ed and mustang know Alphonse and dr Heinz doofenshmirtz have tussled before at first dr Heinz Doofenshmirtz didn't recognize him and thought he was just a kid until he put on his signature fidora and dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz said Alphonse the kid all suprised like Alphonse then frees his brother and the bitch ass bitch mustang and they fight dr Heinz Doofenshmirtz accidentally beating him by hitting him with his own shrink ray inator making him even smaller then they used Alchemy to change the make up of the device to make it a growthinator making everyone tall again but leaving Ed and Dr Heinz Doofenshmirtz small but this was good because Ed and Dr Heinz Doofenshmirtz were Able to find something to bond over and be friends and Ed realizing dr Heinz Doofenshmirtz was just misunderstood and had a rough childhood just like him
