If somebody told me on my graduation that practical life is difficult and exhausting I would have said that the person is delusional but living this practical life for 4 years has made me think otherwise.
Life is so difficult you have to work your a** off to live.Like really it's better to be dead. Free of all problems but taking your life by yourself is not one of the wisest decisions. It proves you are a coward which I most ceratinly am not. I am brave enough to take care of myself and make myself comfortable. That is why I am a prosecutor, it's a quite interesting job and also pays well. But it comes with alot of responsibility and requires alots of hard work.
I reached my office and went straight to my desk I placed my coffee on the table when a bell rang singnaling that I am called in the director's office. Groaning I went to his office. I knocked twice and waited for answer.
"Come in". A voice came behind the door.
Slowly opening the door I entered the office.Behind the table sat our director. He semmed to be in his late 50s by judging from his half bald head and grey hair.He was a grumpy unmarried old man.Sometimes I think the reason behind him being unmarried is his grumpiness.
"Good Morning Mr. Director".
"Good Morning Ms.Laskaris".
He threw a stack of papers on my side of the table.
"A new case has arrived but it's not an ordinary one.So make sure to give your best. You may leave." He said while returning to the stack of papers in front of him.
I collected the papers from the table and was about to leave when,
"I expect you start your packing today."
I left the room without a word. After reading this stack of papers I will know what he meant.
Reaching my desk I put the papers down and sat on the chair.I took a sip of my coffee and started going through the papers Director gave me.
As I read the papers my eyes grew wide. The case came from Ezra Aetòs, one of the finest billionaires of Greece. He was one of the youngest billionaire heir. The case was about leaking of some important files and data which caused huge financial damage. I read the papers more thoroughly to get a better view at the situation I'm going to face.
The construction plans of the brick mills were leaked. The brick mill was going to be one of the biggest brick mills in Greece. The area along with the names of associating companies were leaked, shipment routes were leaked. Those shipments were coming by sea. Because of the leaking of data those shipments were disappeared by unknown people which I have to find. This resulted in financial damage along with reputation damage of Mr.Aetòs,as he was the head of the brick mill plan and he held all the information in his custody.
I have to go to Athens to investigate and solve the case. The distance between Corinth and Athens is not alot. I think it wouldn't take much time reaching there. Probably one and a half hour. I have to reach their at 9 so I would have to leave Corinth at 7, better be safe than late.I don't know if it's even a saying.
I took my leave from work and went home to do packing.I hope that this is going to be okay.

After taking a shower and getting ready I went to the train station, the train would leave at 7:10. Right now I am waiting for the train to come. The train arrives and people get on the train to reach their destinations. Seems like alot of people work in Anthens, ofcource it is the capital, there are more opportunities there.
I was sitting next to a lady carrying a baby who didn't stop crying for most of the ride making my journey abit less comfortable.
I reached Athens at 8:15 and I still had time left so I went to grab some breakfast. My phone buzzed indicating a notification. I unlocked my phone and read the message sent by the director.
'Don't be late.'
He never texts to remind me of my work, he knows I'm responsible enough. This is new I wonder why?
I ate breakfast and took a cab to get to the prestigious Aetòs Building. When I reached the building I realised it is so tall, it doesn't seem tall in the newspaper.I entered the building and found the receptionist desk.I went over to the lady.
"Excuse me. I'm here to meet Mr.Aetòs."
"May I know your name?"She asked while not sparing me a single glance.
Wow just not so rude.
"I'm Lyla Laskaris."
"Okay Ms.Laskaris you take the lift to floor 12 and you will find Mr.Aetòs' office at the far end. It's still 10 minutes left till 9 so make sure to enter the office at 9 sharp."
She said in one breath and pointed to the lift.I got on the lift.
Enter the office at 9 sharp, talk about punctual.
I reached the floor 12 and looked at my phone. 8:55.I waited in front on the door for 5 minutes.
Amazing .
I knocked on the office door at 9 sharp.
"Come in." A low deep voice called. For a moment I was not sure if I heard the voice from behind this door beacuse of how low the voice was. Taking a deep breath I entered the office.
