DESTINED TO BE TOGETHER

CHAPTER 2 - HAPPY YEAR

"Siddharth, ye kya badtameezi hai?" Avneet calls Sid as Siddharth only when she is extremely angry on him. And today he definitely pissed her off.

"Maine kya kiya?" He asked. They were in his vanity van alone as Avneet told his makeup artist to move out.

"Tu phirse bhul gaya?" Avneet so wanted to hit him hard on his face but she maintained her calm. She took out a box from her bag and put in on his table.

"Congratulations on completing one year with me Mr. Siddharth Nigam. Mai ja rahi hun ghar" she dashed outside.

He was smiling looking at her retreating figure

"Madoo" he muttered and dialed a number.

"Aunty mai aa raha hun aap use kuch kaam me phasa dijiye" and hung up

Here Avneet sat on her car as their shoot was already done. She was scrolling her Instagram feed when her mom called.

"Shooting khatam ho gayi beta?" She asked

"Yes mom I am heading home" she replied.

"Can you bring some flowers? Driver kaka ko bolna I need orchids and lilies" she said.

"But Mom flowers kis khushi me? That too orchids?" Avneet asked back.

"Mai hi le aati but I already reached. I need it for some reason." She said.

"Okay Ma" and she hung up the call.

"Driver kaka, gadi ghumaiye zara. Wo Ma ne orchids manwage hai"

"Ji gudiya" he responded. She again scrolled her feed and looking through her friend's stories. Sid had posted their picture in the story 5 mins back with a caption #Madoo and tagged her.

"Idiot" she put her earphones on and played her playlist.

Since last two months, he has been forgetting their special day but she was expecting at least today things will be different. Its been a there they have been together with the consent of the families as well. But its secret as they don't want the topic of media's gossips. Although there is enough speculation about #Sidneet but now for the sake of their career, it has to be a secret. She opened her tiktok account and was looking through her videos with siddharth. It has always been a hit. They are loved by the new generation.

Here Sid reached Avneet's home and thanked both her parents. Vibha, Abhishek and Vaishnavi were also there.

"Thanks for help guys" he said.

"Tumhare liye nahi apni beti ke liye kiya hai" Avneet's father said and everyone laughed.

Soon every thing was done and they heard a ring. Of course it was Avneet at the door.

Avneet's Mom, Sonia signalled Shivaay to open the door and when Avneet saw him she was shocked beyond words.

"Tu yaha?" And then her eyes fell on the decoration. Red and white balloons, dim lighting, candle decorations and a heart symbol on the accent wall of their drawing room.

She looked around and then at Sid who was smiling like an idiot.

"Ye sab tune kiya?" She asked nearing him.

"Idea mera tha mehnat sabne ki hai" and all the members came out bursting a balloon.

Avneet hugged Sid in excitement.

"Happy 1st year love" he said and patted her back.

Once they broke the hug, she approached the family members.

"Thank you for making this so special" she told them and Vibha Aunty hugged her.

"By the way, thank you ka haqdaar mai bhi hun" Sid said and they all chuckled

"Tu chup kar subah se kitna sataya iss bechari ko" Vaishnavi said.

Avneet then hugged her parents
"I have got the best family" she looked

"Indeed"

They celebrated the night and posted a few pictures too. Its like a party for everyone else but for them its special.

"Terrace pe chalega?" She asked him

"Chal" and they headed there. As they reached, Avneet looked at the clear sky.

"Mujhe laga tha tu aaj bhi bhul gaya" she said.

"Itna bhi bura nahi jitna tu sochti hai" he replied only to earn a smack from her.

"Kabhi to romantic ho liya kar" she said and he reduced their distance.

"You know ye past one year mere liye kafi special raha. You are my friend first since so many years" He kissed her forehead and she closed her eyes.

"Tu satata to bohut hai but I can't stay away from you" and she hugged him tight.

"Sun na ek promise karega?" She asked and he nodded in a yes.

"Agar kabhi bhi we have to breakup to please don't stop talking to me. I can never lose you as my best friend Sid" she said.

"Tujhse baat kiye bina ya phir tujhe sataye bina mera din kaise jayega" his reply made her laugh more.

"Tu nahi sudhrega"

They had their moment having no idea of what future has in store for them.
