I unbuttoned my longsleeve polo as I sat down to my swivel chair. This day was really tiring. Nasayang na naman ang pagpunta ko doon just to check her up. Pero hindi pwedeng sumuko. Bawal sumuko.

"What did you do to Canada, Ian? Your secretary just told me that you've been there for one week.  As much as I remember, you don't have a business there to attend." Pagod ko siyang tinignan.

If you would only know, Mom. I have business there and it's very important. I shook inside my head. I remember why I ended up to this set-up.

"Sir please, tell me where she is." I never beg like this to someone. Ngayon lang. But I dont mind as long as it's her.

Umiling lang ang kausap ko.

I'm losing my mind. I'm really losing. My emotions scrambled as I heard about what happened to her Father. Parang mas gusto ko pang isipin na iniwan niya ako dahil naniwala siyang niloko ko siya. Not like this. I can almost hear in my mind her pain and agony. And it's killing me because I can't do anything. Dapat nasa tabi niya ako ngayon.

"Ang kapal ng mukha mong hanapin sa amin si Aia! When it's you! The reason why she left!" Hindi ko mahinuha lahat.

Ang labo. Kasi ayos naman kami. Ayos ba talaga? Masaya ba talaga siya sa tuwing magkasama kami? Bakit kailangang umalis agad? Ang daya. Yung paliwanag ko, hindi niya ba kailangan? Why would she think of that? Hindi siguro sapat yung pinakita kong pagmamahal.

Then I remember, I never say to her how much I lover her. Naduduwag ako. Baka kasi magkaiba.

"Ang baho mo, Pre." Sinamaan ko ng tingin si Joshua.

"Crush ko na 'ata si Dane. Binuhusan ka niya ng basura."

Nasaan ka ba Aia? Bakit kailangan iwan ako? Hindi ko naman magagawa 'yon.

"Ahm... Tagalog lang po sana. Hindi po kami marunong magbikol."

"Ah... Iyo! Este oo! Umalis na 'ata ang pamilyang iyon. Noong nakaraan pa. Nagkaroon kasi ng isyu ang dating Mayor." I stilled.

"Po?" Nagkatinginan kami ni Karl.

"Hindi nyo ba nabalitaan? Pinatay si Mayor De Cruz dahil sa malaking utang nito sa mga sindikato. Balitang balita iyon kahit sa Maynila."

Pero sumubok pa rin ako. Ang Tiyuhin na lamang niya ang tanging pag-asa ko.

Mababaliw ako.

How can I help her when I don't even know where she is now. My Baby is hurting. She needs me!

"Sir please, I beg you." I kneeled in front of her Uncle. He just stared at me blankly.

"Mr. Montemayor, even if I inform you. You can't help. Dadagdag ka lang sa problema niya."

"No Sir. I'll do anything to help her just please tell me where she is."

Lahat gagawin ko. Kahit ika-ubos ko pa.

"Let's make a deal." He said

"What is it?" I know, I looked desperate now.

Ayos lang, basta makita ko siya. I wanna talk to her. I want to know if she's doing well. We'll settle all the things together. Hindi yung ganto, wala akong ideya kung nasaan siya.

Napahilamos ako sa mukha. I calmedmyself because being frusrated right now wont help. Wala na akong ibang gusto kundi ang malaman kung nasaan si Aia.

"Just tell me, Sir."

"I've heard about you going to take your father's position." I don't find this talk nearing about Aia's whereabouts.

"Wait until your father give the title to you and I'll tell you where my niece is. As of now, I wont tell you so you'll be determine to take that place." I don't understand him and all.
