It's 10:45 pm and pouring as I turn the corner on the street. I walk past the many stores that I had passed many times before. It feels like forever ago, that I could walk into the coffee shop without being stared at, or yelled at. I feel a strong tug on my shoulder. I jump into the air, mixing both a squealing and screaming noise. Someone, tall and familiar crept out of the shadows.
"J-" My body and voice are trembling as I step back to get a better look. My eyes widen in surprise as I jump onto him "Jack!" I exclaim, pulling him into a strong hug. Then, I remember. I remember EVERYTHING. Remembering the betrayal to me and my friends. The lying... I quickly shove him off. He looks both surprised and confused at the same time. "No. You can't just- just do that! Make me trust you again, then you BETRAY ME!! Not again, Jack..." I cry out.
"Rosie, I-" I step back to the sidewalk and turn around, crossing the street. "ROSIE!! LOOK OUT!" I turn my head and hear a loud honk and blinding lights. Suddenly, everything goes black, and I scream.
