A R I A N N A sighed as she admired the view of the water and the sun meeting at the horizon line.
the seagulls were speaking loudly and she smiled in contempt as she dangled her feet off the ledge of the 3-story building she was stood on top of.
her bestfriend, john b routledge, stood next to her, copying her actions. the two were always a mischievous duo.
ari's other best mate, pope heyward, glanced at the pair in dismay. "that's what, a three-story fall to the deck? i give you guys about a one-in-three chance of survival," pope spoke.
ari giggled,"aw man. wish the chances were lower." pope rolled his eyes at the girl's sarcastic comment.
john b shrugged alongside ari,"hm. should i do it?" he looked over at ari smirking.
"yeah. i'll do it with you," ari said smiling an evil smile.
jj maybank, ari's bestest friend, the one whom was presumably the closest to ari, looked at the 2 up top with jealousy and annoyance. he finally spoke up,"yeah jump."
pope looked at jj in annoyance,"i'll shoot you on the way down."
john b gasped with sarcasm,"you'll shoot me?!" ari laughed once again.
"yep. pow!" pope stated, making finger guns and shooting them at john b and ari.
kiara carrera, or kie, the only other female pogue besides ari, stated in disappointment,"they're gonna have japanese toilets with towel warmers." she was always super passionate about the earth and all of its goodness.
jj took the opportunity to voice himself,"of course. why wouldn't they?" he took another swig of his beer.
ari looked at him for a moment, the sun was shining down on him and the boy looked golden. however, she was caught in the act as jj made eye contact with the girl, sending a wink her way.
rolling her eyes with a blush, she took a large sip of her very own beer.
"this used to be a turtle habitat. but who cares about the turtles, i guess?" kie stated in utter disgust looking around at the newly constructed but not finished house.
"i care kie!" ari said. kie smiled at her girl bestfriend.
jj took the time to admire ari now. the sun was hitting her in all the right places, and in that moment he realized she was undoubtedly the prettiest girl he has ever seen. "i can't have cold towels," he said quietly as he continued to stare at the girl in awe.
