Twins

A boy and a girl.

Looking only a little similar.

Both sent to a orphanage.

One adopted.

One jumping from foster to foster.

Malia and Trevor Hale.

Twins separated at birth.

To never know their mother.

To never know their father.

Trevor was sent from one foster home to the next. Never sitting in one place too long.

He didn't see himself different than any of the other kids. Not yet at least.

He went to school and had nap time. Like every other kid.

Sure he had anger issues.

No one thought twice about it.

He was sure to have problems being a orphan and foster kid for his life. So everyone played it off not giving it another thought.

He was a smart kid. To the point he would out smart his teachers.

Letting him have extra recess or correcting them. He was a quick learner.

Teachers would say he must have gotten his sly ways from his dad. He never knew his dad. They didn't know his dad.

That was the first time he punched a adult. He was forced to leave the school. And his foster parents didn't feel safe around him anymore.

So he was put into a foster home of all boys. Which wasn't great when he had anger issues and the boys liked to wrestle.

After two hospital trips for two different kids. The foster parents didn't want him in the house anymore.

More and more fosters were scared to take him in. He had punched, kicked, or bit at least all of his teachers.

And had sent multiple people to the hospital.

He was in second grade when his foster dad yelled at him. So he ran away. Into the woods.

He was just running. He didn't know where he was going but he was going.

That was until he tripped and fell. He did something to his ankle because it shouldn't be bent like that.

He didn't know what to do. He didn't have a mommy or daddy to call to help him.

He had no phone to call someone to come save him.

He had nothing and no one.

Because he was nothing and no one.

Not even his own mom and dad wanted him.

He was just a mistake to everyone.

He started crying as he felt like the earth was swallowing him up.

Then he heard the snap of a tree branch.

"WHO IS THERE?!", he had yelled through his tears and pain.

When nothing answered he started crying harder.

It was a bear it had to be.

It was going to eat him and no one would even care.

He was crying so hard he couldn't see.
