Chapter 1

Simone's POV
As I was typing up my paper on my laptop I heard one of the doors slam and saw my friend Andrew walking towards me "Aye Simone". Yes I turned around and saw my friend Andrew What's up"? I asked. So I need to tell you something he said while taking sitting next to me. Just promise me that you won't get mad. I promise I said taking a quick glance at him.  Okay so you know how you and Ryan broke up after his football game because he was still in contact with his ex and ended up switching schools. Yeah, so uhm while my friend and I were walking to class we ran into them and decided to chat for a-.
Before,  he could finish his sentence I heard a door shut and we both turn around to see Oscar my foster dad standing in front of the door with his arms crossed holding a stern look on his face along with black markings on the side of his cheek from work on his car so damn much. People would always assume that my dad was this tough guy In which he is and also very protective. But when it comes to me being his daughter along with my  he was like this big teddy bear that just wanted to always make sure we're alright. He has a huge heart.
Hey Oscar I was just tal- I don't care( he said slightly raising his voice)  we need to go pick up your brother. Well can we take Andrew home? That's fine but we need to go. I'll be waiting outside . Look Andrew I really don't care (I say packing up my stuff ) and besides Ryan doesn't mean shit to me. *phone buzzing* You ready? Yeah we're coming. HURRY YOUR A- , and yes I hung up on him. Like I was saying Ryan is the least of my concern right now I have other shit to worry about. And this time I mean it. Simone you always say that   And guess what ends up happening you end up talking to him again and then you get your heart broken. Look he said as he grabbed my hand I don't want you to go back into that dark place that you were in last year. Ok but Andrew we gotta go before Oscar throws a tantrum.
