Maybe Another Day

    "Alright. That didn't go as planned, but next, we will be messing with Alex and Kouvr," Ryland explains to the camera as I'm wiping off my face and looking happy so I can FaceTime Kouvr.

"Hey, Siri. FaceTime Kouvr," I tell my phone. We waited for a second before Siri responded.

"FaceTiming Future Wifey," Siri said as she loaded some more. Ryland and I laughed at the stupid nickname.

"She do be making fire tacos. Might as well wife her up," I mentioned, glancing at the camera. Kouvr picked up a couple of seconds later.

"What's up, wifey?" Kouvr giggled a little bit after she said that. I smiled widely.

"Could you and Alex come to the room for a minute? Ry and I have something to tell you," I said.

"Yeah, just give us a second," she replies.

"Ok cool," I say hanging up. Ry and I moved the blue, red, and black gaming chairs over a bit so that the couple could sit on the bed. The door opened and closed a few seconds later as the two walked in.

"What's up?" Alex got comfortable on my bed. I held the camera up so that it could see Kouvr and Alex. I looked at Ryland as though to tell him to tell them.

"So we have some exciting news and we wanted to see your reactions because we figured Kouvr would be all sorts of excited," Ryland starts.

"Are you guys engaged? Can I be the maid of honor? What kind of dress are you gonna wear? Oh my god, we have to pick out the dress colors," Kouvr was getting super excited.

"No. We are not engaged, yet. Calm down," Ry says while laughing a bit. Wait, yet? Did he actually say yet? Kouvr looks a little bit sad while Alex laughs quietly at her disappointment.

"So what's up then?" Alex speaks up for the first time in a few minutes. Ryland and I glance at each other as if we were nervous.

"We are...pregnant," Ry said, switching between looking at me and Alex and Kouvr. I looked at Kouvr and she looked like she could scream because she was so happy. Alex just raised his eyebrows and looked pretty surprised.

"Actually?" Alex looked kind of hesitant to believe the truth. I think it's because he knows how much I like pranking people.

"Yeah. We found out today," Ryland told them. He was smiling so big that I probably would've believed him if I didn't know it was a prank.

"I'm getting the feeling that you're lying to us," Alex states, laughing at the end of his sentence. Ryland and I started laughing along with him.

"That's because we are," I managed to get out while I was still laughing. Kouvr's face changed to a look of disappointment. "Sorry, Kouvr."

"Maybe another day," she sighed. We all died of laughter. Nothing was funny. It was just that whenever we were all together, we just laughed until we couldn't breathe. We all sat there and talked for a bit before they went back to their room.

"On to the next person," Ryland says to me, kissing me.

So the prank is probably gonna last a few more chapters. I won't do everyone in the house but I'll do a good bit. Who should be next? Gimme ideas.
