y/n and Chris had been friends since they were 14 years of age. Chris had moved away to make his dream of being an actor come true. y/n didnt take it too well. !read the story to figure out what happens!

-backstory: y/n and Chris had been friends since a very young age and their parents were best friends as well, they lived next to each other and spent everyday together in each others houses. they both had feeling for each other but were to scared to tell each other, y/n kinda thought it was true they had always been so close. close as in they would hold hands and cuddle with one another, but they werent dating.. she never said anything. eventually when they were 16 their parents allowed them to get an apartment together and they both had signed up for homeschooling so it was easier for their works. they got an apartment on Mulholland Drive, LA California. they moved all of their stuff in within 2 days and got settled down. they slept in separate rooms but still were very close. one day Chris had got an acting gig in New York which was on the complete other side of the country.. of course he wasnt going to say no, he loved acting. he tried to get y/n to take the trip with him but she couldnt leave her mother who was sick with stage 2 cancer. he had gone by himself and said he would call her as soon as he arrived. once he got into more acting areas the calls and text began to grow short and they only talked about once a month, it was very hard for y/n because she had loved him since the day they met. she was helping her mother out a lot more and barely stayed in her own apartment, she was always at home with her mother. then y/n got an amazing text from Chris.-

C - 'hey..ik its been a while but im heading home to see mom. i heard shes not doing good.'
y/n - 'im glad your coming back, i missed you a lot. <3 thank you for thinking of mom as well.'
C - yep <3 im getting to the airport right now text you when im in cali so u can pick me up'
y/n - 'cya soon <3'
he read your message and got on the plane. you instantly texted your best friend.
y/n - 'y/bff/n, y/bff/n, y/bff/n Chris is coming home!!!'
y/bff/n - yaaay, cant wait to see him, im sure ur happy as can be! lol'
y/n - 'ofc i am!! ive missed him so much!'
she read your message but didnt reply. y/bff/n was the one of the only two people who knew you had feelings for Chris. the other was an old school friend from middle school, her name was Marie. you noticed that Marie wasnt to fond of what Chris and you had, she was always giving you dirty looks when you and Chris were together. Chris had never really liked Marie, he would call her nosey, he also never told you why he calls her nosey but he promised that it was nothing severe.
later that evening around 7pm you got a text from "cwis <3", it read,
C - 'im at the airport now with my things if u can come pick me up'
y/n - 'ofc, on my way (:'
he replied with a smiley face. you and y/bff/n got in your car and headed to the airport. she sat in the back seat and you drove. while driving to the airport you guys sang to music really loudly. when getting to the airport you saw Chris sitting on a bench, as you pulled up he looked up and smirked.

u smiled really big because he was wearing the shirt you had got him for his 16th birthday. he put his things in the trunk and sat in the front seat. you all said hi to each other and drove off back to your apartment, while driving you guys continued to listen to music. Chris reached over and put his hand on your thigh by your knee. you smiled and continued to look at the road. y/bff/n in the back seat saw and took a picture and posted it on her private snap story with the caption "he's home and she's happy", only her really close friends were on there. when getting home you helped Chris unpack his things while y/bff/n sat at his desk. you all talked about how his visit to New York was and what his acting gigs were. when you were done you guys decided to post-mate some food. you got Chipotle, Chris' favorite. when done it was about 10pm, y/bff/n had gone home. you and Chris watched a movie and cuddled on the couch. in the middle of the movie you started to fall asleep. you had fallen asleep and Chris eventually fell asleep after you.
