The day started as both of us were sitting on the bed. She just woken up from her sleep. Her hair was messy, she looked dead, her morning breath was not to say good but this is precisely why I love her so much
"Yah! Kim Minjoo ah~!"
"Yes?"
"I love you~ ~"
"You remember what's going on today right?"
"Eh" she tilted her head
"Yahhhhhh! Don't do this to me" I start pinching her cheeks
"Ouch ouch ouch! Ahhhhhhh! I remember now!!!! We're going to your family's annual dinner!"
"Mmhm! Glad you remembered" I grabbed my chest like I got a heart attack
"Are you insulting me?!" She looks at me with that cute face of hers while pouting
'Can this girl get any cuter?'
"No way! I was just checking ahahahaha!"
She continued to pout at me
I look at her then peck her lips
She was taken a back. Her face was turning red
"Happy?"
"Maybe one more" she acted not satisfied
I pinched both side of her cheeks this time and start wiggling it, smiling like there's no tomorrow
"Minjoo ah~ Minjoo ah~ why are you so cute!"
"Yah! It hur-"
I interrupted her by pecking her lips again
"Hehehe" I smiled like a crazy person and hugged her
She was so shocked but she loved it. This was the man she fell in love with. The person she wants to marry and grow old her entire life.
"I have to get ready, you know?"
"But I'm so comfortable~"
"We can continue this hug. You have plenty of time with me"
"Mmm......" I started whining.
She pushed me and went to the bathroom to start her morning routine.
Minjoo was brushing her teeth when suddenly I came up from behind and hug her.
"What's this?" She said with her stuffed mouth
"I said that I was comfortable didn't I?"
"Look at this baby" she started smiling and continue to brush her teeth.
Of course, I left the bathroom when she needed to bath.
I went downstairs to the kitchen and unpacked the stuffs we bought yesterday.
After a while.....
"Babe?" Minjoo called from the stairs
"In the kitchen" I replied
She came into the kitchen and saw I already unpacked everything
"Babe.....you know that.....we haven't taken breakfast right?"
"Ahhhhhh! No wonder I felt something was off! Wait wait wait! Let me go prepare it!"
I started jogging to the fridge but tripped and fell but I instantly got up
"Ba-"
"I'm alright!" and continued going to the fridge
She giggled so much at me. Thinking 'How did I deserve such a cute yet mature man'
While time passed.....
Sound of oil sizzling echoed the kitchen
"I'm getting hungry looking at that egg"
"It's just egg"
"But it's egggggggg!"
"Can you pass me the plate?"
She grabs the plate and passes it to me which I then proceed to serve the egg on it.
"And we're done!"
"Yayyyy!" she started clapping and jumping.
"Thanks babe!" she pecked my cheeks
I watched her devour the food I cooked for her as I ate mine too
"By the way, what did you want to make?"
She gave me the are you kidding me look
"How can you not know?! It's very obvious!"
"Really?!" I thought about it. Thinking, thinking, thinking, thinking even harder
"It's brownies!"
"Ahhhhhhhh! I definitely knew that"
She gave me the yeah right look.
"Pass me the melted chocolate"
I quickly grab it and went to her. I looked at her
"Why"
I touched the tip of her nose with my finger that has chocolate on it
"Oops"
"Yah! Ip Y/N!!!"
"No no no. No revenge. You have to pour the chocolate in"
She just pouts at me and poured the chocolate into the barter
I looked at her serious face with that chocolate on her nose. I chuckled
"What?"
"You look so damn cute"
At first she blushed from it, but she remembered about the chocolate
"Yeah yeah! Just you wait!"
I watched Minjoo prepare the brownie all the way. Of course I did help but she did most of the work as pastries are not my forte
"Babe?"
She ignored me. I took at closer look at her and saw her drooling while staring into the oven. I poked her right cheek and she looked at me. I wiped her drool away from her lips
"That's for afterwards"
"I know but it smells so goodddddd! I just wanna steal some bites"
"No"
"Yes"
"No"
"Yes yes"
"No no"
She pouts at me. Eyes saying pretty please. I decided to peck her lips
"Will that do?"
"It needs more"
I rolled my eyes at how cute she's being. I gave her a few more pecks and she smiles like a happy child to me
*ding* the oven makes a sound indicating that it has finished baking the brownies
Minjoo went a wear the insulating gloves to protect her hands.
"Now I have prepare some homemade ice cream as the toppingssss"
"Wait a minute. What flavour is it going to be?"
".....Chocolate." she winks at me
"No no no"
"But why?"
"What you mean by why? The chocolate is already chocolate itself. It would make it too chocolaty"
"Then what would you suggest"
"Vanilla?"
She looks at me with a not impressed look on her face
"No it's not that"
"Then what is it?"
"It's just that...don't you think chocolate and vanilla syncs?"
"Hmmmm"
"Like you and I" I smirked at her. She showed her a little of her tongue to me.
"Okayyyyy~ Just because you put it that way I agree" I smiled brightly at her words.
