She was excellent at observing the world around her and had a very real perspective of how the world worked.  She had been all over the planet.  She'd met many people and knew about many different cultures through immersive experience and personal one on one interaction; not just chatting with a guy in an instant message, like Philip did with his Australian and English friends.

He'd just read a webpage a couple months before which had an article that had an interview with Sally wherein she discussed the state of the world, hinting at steps toward understanding the steps necessary for world peace.  It was a very refreshing approach to seeing the world's future with an optimistic attitude.  She was so worldly and was able to see the world in a macro view.

Philip sat down and began to write in free form.  He wrote a short story about a guy meeting a woman who was a celebrity.  He called it "This Love".  He wrote a fictional story based on what he imagined it would be like if Sally came to Philip.  He called the characters, Joe and June.  June was a successful performer and Joe was just a living room musician.  They met through a party at June's house.  Her husband, Mike (who was a writer) had actually thrown the party but was not there because he had lost it after getting word that his parents had died in a plane crash over the Atlantic.  He overdosed on a combination of drugs later that night and was found naked, chewing on a bench, when the police found him.  Apparently, he'd been spotted chasing cars earlier.  She promptly divorced him.

Mike was supposed to have been at the party but the afternoon before the party, Mike was hanging out with his friend Jesse, at the house.  Jesse is the ex-lead-singer of a really successful new music group.  When June had gotten home, Mike was trashed and almost hit her. 

David, a friend of Mike's and rhythm guitarist for the band that Jesse quit, lives in the same apartment complex as Joe.  Joe and David have jammed occasionally for a couple years.  David invited Joe to the party and even covered his travel expenses.

June and Joe spent most of the night talking.  They really hit it off.  They weren't two people in different worlds.  They were just two people talking.  Joe thought that night would be the end of any chance for furthering their relationship.

It takes June tracking him down and coming to visit Joe, plus the encouragement for him to believe that she does see a very real connection between them that's worth exploring.  He has a hard time putting himself on her level but performs, as she knows he will.

When Philip got done writing the short story, he realized it was a lot like a movie he'd seen, in some respects.  Dylan could sense it as well.  Neither Philip nor Dylan said anything about it though.  But, Dylan took note of the story and also noted the energy she sensed that was coming from Philip.

Philip and Dylan chatted.  It was the morning of Saturday, October 25th.  They had been talking about Star Wars.  Dylan had asked earlier about the "Indiana Jones" movies, having read their screenplays online, while Philip was taking a shower.  After some impressions, Philip brought the conversation back to talking about a clip of a scene that was cut from Episode 4, "A New Hope".  Philip asked if the was a way to incorporate the clip into the rest of the film, enhancing the clip that he got off the Internet, to make it match the detail depth, contrast and color of the video Philip had captured of the movie.  Also, he wanted to make sure that the audio was cleaned up and enhanced to match the surrounding scenes, continuing the flow, complete with generated foley and musical score, in the style of John Williams.

Dylan said it would take about an hour and twenty-four minutes to render the file as requested.  Philip was astounded that it would take such a short period of time.  It was a short clip and he already knew it wouldn't fit in very well but, 'what the hell' he thought.  He decided he'd go for a walk, to get something to eat.
