"Dylan, that's amazing."

"Thank you.  I'm happy you like it."

"I do like it, very much."  He thought about the MTV logo though and realized that it would be nearly impossible to get them to allow him to ever release the video with their logo on it.  "One thing though, you should remove the MTV logo graphic from the video.  That's their trademark and it won't ever be played on MTV, unless I become famous."

"It could happen."

"Sure, right.  Whatever you say."

He checked his email and did a search to see if there had been any new lyrics with chords for any of Sally's new songs.  There was one.  It wasn't off any of her albums and he'd never seen it before.  He clicked the link and saved the text file from the hyperlinked title, 'Do You Need Me?'

I don't want you coming round,

I don't want to see your face...

No, leave me alone, unless,

You can answer,"yes"

When I ask, "Do you need me?"

Will you lay it down right?

Will you rock me tonight?

What would you say if I was the prize?

What would you do when I look in your eyes

You say, "baby I love that you don't look away."

Though my eyes see right through you.

Just as yours pierce my soul.

I hear your eyes ask

"Do you need me?"

Well, I don't want no little boy,

And you know I love you

Even though I can't hold ya'

You slipped away and I never got to ask

"Do you need me?"

Do you need me to lay it down right?

Do you need me to rock you tonight?

What would you say, if I thought you were the prize?

What would I do when you look in my eyes?

I say, "baby I love that you don't look away."

Though your eyes see right through me.

Just as mine pierce your soul,

You hear my eyes ask

"Well... do you need me?"

So say you need me

Because, I need you too.

Philip was fascinated.  Was it new?  Was it old?  It was on an unofficial website.  He sent an email to the webmaster of the site, asking about the lyrics to the song but he would never get a response unfortunately, since the default webmaster email address he'd sent it to, didn't actually exist and the email catch-all was not set up either.  If he'd looked a little harder and hadn't guessed it, he'd have found the right email address but he was eager to find out and figured that everyone sets up a webmaster email address.  Actually Sally had only just written the particular song in question and had sent it to the site's webmaster, Mark, who was a fan and had met Sally on numerous occasions.  She let him post exclusive content on occasion, like this song.

Philip felt an energy, pulling himself to marry himself to the song, digging deeply to find the root of the emotion in the song.  He was able to work with a lot of her material and perform covers of some of her songs.  But, he really liked that she gender biased some of her songs also.  He felt it was important for giving a gender biased perspective in certain songs.
