"Hey, where the frick are you?" it was jaehyun's voice now on the other side of the line. He can't hear it clearly so he set it to loud speaker.

"I'm with taeil now and at a fast food chain where we ate last time"

"Why not just, go straight here and eat here instead. We're preparing our rooms already and the others are complaining because you have their luggage."

"I suddenly forgot the way to get there" doyoung tries to suppress his laugh not taking the risk to get caught by taeil.

But oh boy, he spoke too fast.

Taeil, with the tray in one hand, eavesdrop at their conversation. Doyoung didn't seem to notice taeil standing in front of him.

"Am i suppose to believe that, you smart ass? You drove us here last time" he heard a scoff from jaehyun

"Long story man. We'll be there... about half an hour"

"Nah. Take your time 'wait babe' taeyong's starting to get suspicious why we are taking so long so i'm gonna hung up now byeeee"

"Who's taehyeo-" he didn't have the chance who that 'taehyeon' guy but he was suprised by the loud noise infront of him

Taeil placed the tray on their table loudly, earning some looks from the nearby tables.

"ho- how long have you been standing there?" doyoung can't afford to look at taeil in the eye knowing he did something wrong.

Suprisingly, taeil just sat across him. He started eating but doyoung just hung his head low, sweating. Taeil stopped eating his fries.

"I'm not too low to shout at you in public so just eat up."

he was about to happily eat his meal when taeil spoke again "but that doesn't mean that i'm not mad at you"

They sat there, not minding each other's bussinesses, enveloped by comforting silence (not)

"Took you guys long enough!"

The two now arrived and got out of the car. The group that was waiting for them outside the resthouse rushed to the car while some of them went back inside, to chill at the living room.

Doyoung can't help but be moved at the sight of his friends running to maybe greet him, probably waited for his long return. He spread his arms wide, hoping to get a hug.

But he was enveloped in a tight embrace of nothingness.

"You dumbass. Get inside now. We are waiting for our luggage"

"Oh hey taeil!" jungwoo greeted the boy beside him. taeil just nodded, not really in the mood.

"Wow..." taeil's eyes was now sparkling like the big chandelier they saw after opening the door

They got inside and their jaw dropped at sight before them. Chenle's resthouse is one of a kind. You will thought that it's the president's property (pwark chonlo for president)

With a big house like this, you might feel lonely for having a big space. But every corner, you can see either antiques, portraits (that probably cost a fortune) and most especially, the presence of the 21 of them in this big ass house.

Others are busy admiring the portraits, some are playing tag, and he even saw a couple too busy doing something you don't wanna know in the corners, away from everyone else.

Taeyong took the initiative to lead the group and huddled them one by one in a big circle to start somewhat, a meeting.

"So now that we are complete, what do you guys wanna do in our first day?"

The room were filled of suggestions and was starting to get a bit noisy but it didn't stop doyoung to look at taeil's bright smile fade as he begun looking at a certain message sent on his phone.
