「c h a p t e r 2 」

He got back to his shared apartment with jungwoo. He opened the door and made his way to the kitchen, dropping off the bag of groceries.

He heard footsteps and thought that jungwoo must have woken up when he's away.

But to his dismay, it was lucas who happily rummaged the bag of groceries, exiting the kitchen with a pack of chocolate not forgetting to thank taeil.

"Thank you babe, you really know what i want." lucas said finishing it off with a flying kiss.

"Stop with the babe thing or I swear I'm yeeting you out of this room by the window." taeil said while sending glares to the living room.

He organized the groceries and started to make breakfast. He also made coffee for the three of them and placed it on the coffee table infront of the tv.

He saw jungwoo going down the stairs so he made him sit and eat. Lucas joined them later, not before turning on the tv hopefully to watch cartoons.

Taeil snatched the remote away and went to the news channel to know if there's something up.

"Good morning taeil. Lucas, what are you doing here this early?" jungwoo exclaimed while sipping his coffee. His eyes widened.

"Hmmmm, did you make this lucas ?" jungwoo asked.

"Jungwoo, you know that he cant do anythi-- ah! fuck" taeil's now massaging his shoulder where lucas hit him. He made a mental note to stop joking around with lucas again or he'll end up with a dislocated shoulder.

"You can apply in a coffee shop or something, taeil. This is really delicious! If only my restaurant needs coffee, I will surely hire you" jungwoo praising taeil while drinking the coffee.

"nah it's okay. I'm gonna look for a job anyway this afternoon." taeil said. They continued eating when taeil's phone went off.

Dismay was seen in taeil's face that made the two point it out.

"It's Eri isn't it ? There's something fishy about her ever since you dated her." Lucas pointed out with his mouth full.

He patted lucas' shoulder "empty your mouth first before you talk. But I agree with you " jungwoo said.

"there's nothing wrong with Eri. It's just that sometimes...she's a little off" taeil confessed.

There, he said it. They are going strong and it's almost their 1st anniversary as a couple. 'Or am I the only one-- aish! Go away negative thoughts.'

Many fights and misunderstandings were made, but he can't help it, he love Eri.

He was planning on proposing to her that exact day, their first anniversary, so he's been saving up. He badly needs a job right now.

"that's what I'm telling you. You nee--" lucas was cutted off by taeil standing up. He went to his room to prepare for his date.

"we shouldn't pry with taeil's relationship anymore, imma right?" jungwoo asked lucas.

"yeah, you're right. After all, we should focus more on our relationship." lucas snaked his arm on jungwoo's shoulder and went closer to him.

jungwoo blushed and just nodded.
