Point of view: shayna
I was at nxt just hanging around because I have no match tonight. I see Dakota walking in with cuts and bruises again. I don't know if they are from the ring or something but I just look away back at my phone.
2 hours later:
Nxt has just finished up everyone was gone and i was on my way out when I saw dakota sitting by the locker room crying. I walked over and sat down by her.
Shayna: "Hey"
Dakota: "Hi"
Shayna: "what's wrong?"
Dakota: "candace kicked me out because I was talking to Teagan"
I didn't understand what she was telling me because i always hear around the locker room how great candace and Dakota's relationship is. So i had no idea how to respond and i wanted it be there for my friend but i didn't want to pry.
Shayna: "you can stay at my place with me, jess, and mia if you want."
Dakota: "really I mean that would be great thanks."
I stood up and reached my hand out to help her up. She took it and we walked to my car. We drove in mostly silence but it wasn't awkward silence. Every now and then she would mutter something like she's gonna kill me. I looked over at her every once and a while to see a sad kota with a tear in her eye. Once we got back to my place i brought her in and we were greeted by my dog Isys and jess and mia eating junk food on the couch.
Jess: Hey shayna, hey kota
Mia: sup y'all what up what up
Jess: don't mind her she's drunk
Shayna: dakota is gonna spend the night.
Jess: where we got no more beds?
I ignored Jess and took dakota up to my room.
Shayna: You can sleep here in my bed I will sleep on the couch but until then we can watch tv if you want.
Dakota: can we watch supernatural?
Shayna: sure
I grabbed the remote and put on supernatural as we both took a seat on my bed. After two episodes i went to get drinks from downstairs.
Jess: soooo?
Shayna: soooo what?
Jess: don't even pretend like your not into dakota.
Shayna: im not she needed a place to stay so here we are.
Jess: the shayna i know would have told her to get over it or walked away. But no you have always had a soft spot for kota.
Shayna: whatever i got to get back up stairs.
Jess: yeah to your girlfriend
Shayna: shut up
I got back to my room and handed dakota a coke and we settled back down to watch more supernatural.
Dakota: so who is your favorite character?
Shayna: idk dean i guess, you?
Dakota: castiel
After this we watched a few more episode and we were both getting tired so i turned off the tv and was about to leave.
Dakota: shayna wait! Can you stay with me?
