You have to take every day as it comes and today it was a new beginning for me, not a choice but something that had to be done, an honour. My neck had a soft ache and my bones clicked subtly with every small movement i made indicating how long i had been still. My eyes wandered outside the plane as we landed and i let out a breathe as the wheels connected to the tarmac. Here i was, my heart begging me to return home and my head focused on the challenge ahead of me.

I hauled my luggage behind me as i called the taxi's number taking in the scene surrounding me, although i was in an entirely new place my body felt relaxed and a familiarity enveloped me. However, i didn't dwell on my current thinking as a rough voice picked up tiresomely talking me through how long i would have to wait and what number plate to look out for. It wasn't long before i saw the car pull up and i was on my way to my destination.

To be straight forwards there's no easy way of explaining who i am, my mother and father passed down to me many things including fairy and witch blood. It was an unusual combination but it has worked in my favour many a times having the skills i do. My parents passed away when i was young, around six years old. At the time i was living in England, Suffolk to be specific and from then to now i visited the beautiful country side often, it brought me peace and a sense of belonging. When they passed, a tragic death, a friend of my parents Johnathon was visiting and was able to take me under his wing, he too being witch born and so i grew up in his coven being taught everything i know today.

That Coven being where i was able to build a family, blood doesn't mean family connection does. I first met Thomas, Johnathon was his uncle and so it made sense if we became friends, we hit it off straight away and as we grew so did our friendship. It was when i was formerly introduced to the schooling programme that i met Jacob and instantly we were best friends and i knew he would forever have my back. Lastly, there was Savannah, she was an incredible friend to me and was the first person to help me get in touch with my fairy side, she knew a few herself and so was able to pass on her experience to me. I had many other friends but that was the extent to which my close circle ever grew to.

I was pulled out of my thoughts as we pulled into a driveway, i knew this was my house as i recognised it from many pictures of my parents that Johnathon had shown me. It was their retreat to escape reality and it had been passed along to me, it was of their request that i kept the house alive this also coincided with the fact that Johnathon had plans for me he knew i would be reluctant to agree to.

You see the area in which this house resided was with a pack, a werewolf pack. It was dangerous me being here but being a witch i could hide my scent and blend in as a human. Johnathon knew this pack to be dangerous and he needed someone to keep an eye on things, he is in charge of the Coven so really i couldn't say no anyways but he knew i needed incentive and here it was standing in front of me. It was the last schooling term and i was already passing with 'outstanding' grades and so Johnathon believed i could handle this situation whilst also finishing school locally without too much pressure on my shoulders.

I finished up paying the taxi giving a generous tip after he helped me take all my luggage into the house and walked back into the house. I removed all the cloths covering the furniture and let out a sigh of relief, the house was beautiful even with dust covering most surfaces and just how i expected it to be. It wasn't by any means a small house and i knew i'd probably have moments of loneliness here.

Although it had been styled years ago, it had all elements of vintage glamour whilst maintaining a pastel aesthetic throughout with slight accents of gold. I made my way up to my bedroom felling exhausted, the master suite was elegant and breathtaking and i knew if my mother was destined for anything it would have been interior design. Plain white walls were expertly accessorised with a gold full body mirror leaning against it and beautiful abstract paintings on the walls. Light curtains fell against the balcony doors and caressed them as a slight breeze slipped in through the gaps. There was a seating area in front of the bed with a chaise and shell seats in a coral pastel colour. The bed screamed for me to indulge in it with my newly bought fresh white sheets now upon it. I laid it the serenity of the room until my eyes fluttered shut and sleep fell upon me.
