Not The Same - Elijah Mikaelson

The Beginning

Mystic Falls, 2011

"Do I have to come? I'd much rather stay at the house and just, watch movies and snuggle into my warm blankets" Ana said with a groan, Stefan laughed and dragged her out of her bed.

"Come on, I got you a dress and everything already, you can't just weasel out now" Stefan said, walking with her to her closet, opening it and grabbing out the dress he got for her to wear to the dance, it was a long red dress with a slit along her left leg, It was simple but to her she loved simple things over extraordinary, over the top things. "It's beautiful Stefan" Ana said softly, walking closer and grabbing it, looking at it, she sighed and grinned.

"Fine, I'll come with you tonight" Ana said placing the dress down and pulling him into a tight hug. Stefan chuckled, hugging her back, "Get changed, I'm gonna go change myself now, I think Damon's already downstairs, so when you're done, If I'm not done by the time you are, go and talk to him for a bit" Stefan said, kissing her forehead before walking out of the room.

Ana picked the dress back up, staring at it for a short while before putting it o n, applying light makeup and changing her earrings, also putting a necklace on, she looked at herself in the mirror, smiling slightly at herself, she never really dressed up, she always wore simple shirts and jeans or leggings. 

Ana walked downstairs, seeing Damon standing in the middle of the living room, holding onto a glass of bourbon, "Not even at the party yet and you've already gotten yourself a drink, Mr Salvatore" Ana said with a smirk, walking over to him. "I felt like it" Damon said with a shrug. Ana laughed and took his glass, downing the remaining liquid in it, "And you judged me" Damon said with a smirk, raising an eyebrow. "I wasn't judging" Ana said with a grin, placing the glass down and looking over at Stefan as he walked down. "Alright let's get to that party" Ana said with a wide smile, walking out the front door. 

The three all drove in Damon's car to the Mikaelson House, Stefan and Ana wanted to take Stefan's car but Damon insisted in using his own car, when they arrived, the three walked into the house, a Salvatore on each side of her.
