Falling, Tumbling, Spiraling

Spiraling, falling, tumbling,

Heads over heels,

Weightless, yet heavy as rocks

we are no longer flying.

 Flailing limbs with no reason

as long clawed fingers

greedily grip at the surface of cliffs

as we try to stop our plummet.

A fall from grace,

as some might say.

From high golden thrones

carried on backs of headless birds,

a simple loss of traction

and we are thrown from our castles.

Sent head over heels

off of the backs of our vehicles

Tumbling, falling, spiraling.
