~part one~

Dear Diary, I'v always wondered what it was like not living in tulsa I have always only lived here by myself besides my older brother I have always had him with me but he is usally with his friends or just drunk. I can never just be by myself without getting jumped by a soc but at this point im use to it there isnt really anything I can do about that except hope it doesnt happen. I kinda miss my parents but they never seemed to care about me and Michael we didnt really care about that untill they left us for good. Michael does his best to take care of me when hes not with his friends or drunk like I said. Oh I forgot to introduce myself I'm Y/N Miller and im 14 years old. Ok anyways im a pretty quiet girl I dont have any friends which kinda sucks but I manage. I love movies they are pretty much the only thing I risk leaving my house for. SPEAKING OF movies I'v gotta go!"

I threw my diary onto my bed and ran out the door they were about to play my favorite movie and book Gone With the Wind. I have seen the movie so many times but I don't care. I ran into the theater just as the movie was starting "Thank god im not late." I said loudly but hoping no one heard me. I heard laughing behind me and turned around. It was a sorta tall boy with brownish hair looking down at me. "Hey what are you laughing at?" I asked him "Nothing your just cute." he replied with "UHM am not." I said flustered "Sit with me?" he asked me "S-sure" I manged to choke out. I ended up learning that this was his favorite movie as well. We talked like the whole movie! We found out we actually have a lot in common. I really like his name to its unique and cute. His name is Ponyboy Curtis Ugh so origanl and cool. I even found out we go to the same school! We are even in the same grade!! "Well Y/N it was really nice meeting you I hope to see you at school." he said looking down at me smiling "yeah! I'll see you new friend!" I said smiling as he walked off in the opposite direction as me. Ponyboy was so nice to me and I could not believe that he is my first friend but I mean im not complaining hes super cute, sweet, funny, and we have so much in common I cant wait to get to know him more! I was walking home when I saw a group of socs I didnt have my blade on me because I was in a rush so i knew where this was going to go. I was going to get my third beating in a week! the socs were yelling things at me like "You nasty greaser!" and "Get out of here greaser!" LIKE CAN THEY NOT SEE IM TRYING TO! Ugh whatever I don't care anymore I just hope they dont beat me up to bad. When they got out of the car I tried to run but I did not get to far before they pushed me onto the ground and punched me right in the eye as I screamed "HELP!" I heard someone come running and scream "HEY GET OFF HER!" I was super confused but happy someone came to save me. The socs got off and got back into their car laughing and drove off. Someone was standing over me. It was Ponyboy! He lifted his hand out for me to grab onto and for him to pull me up. He pulled me up and asked me calmly "Hey, are you alright?" "Y-yeah im alright thank you so much!" I hugged him and I didnt even notice at first! suprisingly he hugged me back I got so happy! "Want me to walk you home?" he asked. "Yes please I am NOT in the mood to get jumped again!" I said laughing. We talked all the way to my house it was amazing. We got to know so much about each other! Ponyboy was such an intresting person and i'm so glad we are friends now and I think he feels that way to! "Well this is my house! Thank you so much Pony for walking me home I Appreciate it alot!" I exclaimed. "Of course Y/N what are friends for? Ill pick you up in the morning and we can walk to school together!" he said with a big smile on his face "Ok! ill see you then I cant wait." I blurted out excited. He left as I walked into my house running into my room. I was Soo happy I have my first friend and he is amazing! I went to sleep happy that night waiting for it to be morning so I can see Ponyboy again.
