The Ghost

Jax's Nightmare

So this is a story about a group of friends who are staying in a haunted forest but they have no idea that it is haunted. So the night of the camping trip there was six teens and this is where the story gets interesting, the teens had a  secret nothing to fancy to be honest with you of course so lets start the story of The Ghost.

Its six pm "lets get this party started" said Emily to James, as she said that he turned to her looking a bit scared "do we have to pick THEM up as well?" he asked with a great sorrow in his voice. Emily turned her head to him and with an angry voice she said "they are the ones who are paying for this trip so yes!" James turned around with his hands on the weel and continued to drive. After a bit of a drive they arrived at the first destination Emily stepped out of the car yelling "COME ON LAY AND BRANDON WE STILL HAVE A FEW MORE PEOPLE TO PICK UP!" from the window you could see people running around. About an hour later four people left the house the two other people that they were gonna pick up was already at the house. Running outside the house to get in the car Bree stopped right before getting in the car and turned to Emily and said"hey you know your voice is really annoying this late in the afternoon right?" Emily turned away and laughed. After a long drive it was about nine when they got to the camp sight James told them to leave early but everyone laughed "see i told you so" he said to himself not to say it too loud for Jax to hear. 

An hour later, they are all sitting around a fire in there sleeping bags telling spooky stories like high schoolers. One story in general had every one at the edge of there bags as they lean closer Jax says "as the man goes to check the back yard were he heard the scream" he stops talking. Everyone hears a noise, a song over and over again Emily was the most scared holding onto James for dear life as Bree looks around and spots that both Lay and Brandon are gone. They wait for the song to end but instead of it ending it just starts to slow down Brandon comes out of the woods were the song is coming from stumbling over Jax runs to him. Bree screams, every one looks at her and Brandon pulls Jax close to him saying "run rabbit" as he giggles. Jax looked up to see a person standing there with an axe Jax runs and grabs Bree and, pushes her in front of him the mysterious person stopped in there tracks looking at Jax. The song started to play again and with it being much closer the song played "run rabbit, run rabbit run, run, run" Jax looked up scared knowing what was going to happen everyone started t sing with the song as he was hit repeatedly with the axe. Jax woke up screaming covered in sweat looking around listening to the fire crackle with sigh of relief he seen everyone was there.

The next morning, "lets set up camp before it gets too dark again" Lay said as he puts down his bag with a tent in it. Bree looks around to find that Jax is not anywhere to be found so she tells the group that she will be back she will look for him. They all wish her good luck and she heads off towards the creek where she hears Jax singing "Run rabbit, run rabbit" over and over again concerned she slowly walks towards him "Jax are you alright" she says with her voice shaking. He turns around saying it over and over and when he spots Bree he stops singing "i killed you im so sorry" he said with a sorrow in his voice. Confused Bree took his arm telling him not to run off like a caring girlfriend took him back to the camp ground. He stops dead in his tracks when he seen Brandon, Jax breaks down in tears "your alive your all alive" he says with a sigh of relief as the group looks as him freaked out. After everyone has calmed down they continue with setting up there camp Lay and Brandon finish with there tent first so they go to the creak to get water. Then it was James and Emily next so the left to go get fire wood. Bree was stuck putting the tent together by herself because Jax wanted to make sure that they were safe from the man he saw in his dream. After a bit he started humming the song again creeping Bree out she said "cut that creepy stuff out i dont know what nightmare you had but ever since you have been humming that song". He didn't say anything he just kept humming and staring off when everyone came back he got up and left.

No one said anything the let him leave they thought maybe that he is going to cool down due to him going a bit crazy in the forest. About two hours pass and hes still not back Brandon trys to call his cell but there was no service. Bree starts to scream his name over again to see just in case he got lost or something happened he knows someone is looking for him. Still nothing for an hour since they started looking for him, so they turned back to go back to there camp they didn't go far past the creak so it was easy to go back. When the got back to the camp Jax was just standing there Brandon was the first to try to talk to him but no response. Then Lay tried to talk to him but it was as if he was a statue he didn't move nor speak he just stood there. Bree tried next to say something but as soon as she started to talk he started to hum again. Bree was scared after what he said when she found him to how hes acting now she ran away. as soon as she took off Jax started to run after her the faster she ran the louder he sung terrified she screamed for help and yet no one was around. She was too far from the camp for any of her fiends to save her. She kept running until she couldn't hear him singing anymore so she stopped and sat down letting out a sigh of relief. She sat there for a few minutes before she heard some bushes rustling around she ask "hello, anyone there Jax?" no answer an few minutes later a bunny hopped out of the bush. Holding her chest and sighing she turned back around to see Jax in front of her with a rock with a large smile on his face he starts to sing "RUN RABBIT, RUN RABBIT, RUN, RUN, RUN," she screams and trys to run away when he grabs her. Jax drags her across the ground and picks her up half way as she starts to breath heavily out of fear he lifts up his legs and kick her in the knee shattering her knee she screams in pain. He smiles even more and says "no more running for you my rabbit" she cries out screaming as she hears rustling and hears foot steps. Jax kicks in her other leg breaking her other leg. A distant yell can be heard then Brandon comes out of the bushes he stops to see a crying Bree with both of her legs broken with jax hold her by her hair. Brandon runs over and punches Jax in the face as everyone catches up with him they hold Jax back as Lay and Brandon take Bree back.

Emily sits in front of again the lifeless Jax until his body starts to twitch and he trys to get up but he cant move he is restricted by his friends confused he ask why he was pinned down. James punched him in the face yelling at him "YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU JUST DID" he shook his head no and with a confused voice he explained what had happened to him to his knowledge he passed out at the creek. Emily and James turned and looked at each other confused "then who almost killed Bree?" asked Emily. Jax got up in shock someone so to hear someone almost killing his girlfriend "did you see who it was, was it the man with the axe?" he asked. James looked at him with sorrow and didnt want to tell him but he knew that he had to not just so Jax would stop worrying but as a friend "Jax, it was you who broke her legs". Jax stopped moving muttering to him self when he was calm enough Emily and James let him up and they all started to walk back to the camp. Before they made it back to the camp Jax told them to stop, they both stopped and turned to look a Jax when he said "i hear it, the song". Emily looked scared recalling what happened to Bree she hid behind James. Jax walked up to a tree and said calmly "i know how to end the song" as he started to hit his head as hard as he could against the tree both Emily and James ran over to him trying to get him to stop but they couldn't. It went on for a few minutes until Jax fell onto the ground with a big gouge in his forehead and before he passed he said softly "the song h-has.........stopped" as he slowly passes Emily and James cry as Jax lays there.

An hour later the both of them return to the camp, Emily still crying Brandon walks up to them saying " we took Bree to the hospital, but were's Jax" Brandon looked confused. Emily started to sob as James had to explain what happened Brandon slouched to the ground wondering why that happened to him. They all wondered if they should stay at the camp sight Emily walked to the car and started it but it wouldn't start she kept trying and yet nothing. she went back to everyone and told them the news about the car. Lay stars to panic saying "no one will come until next week to patrol the woods. Every one looks up scared wondering if the same thing will happen to them so they made a pact "if anyone hears any music tell everyone so we can take care of you and keep an eyey on you" James said calmly everyone nodded to that and they all went to the bonfine that wasnt lit yet and sat down asnd stared at it till late they all slept in
