Gia POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock going off at 5:30 in the morning. I woke up and took a 25 minute shower. Once I dried off I did my hygiene, applied light makeup and did my edges. Then I picked out my outfit. It was my last year of high school, so I had to come correct. I decided on wearing my all white bodysuit, white jean jacket, and put on my new shoes. (Picture in media).

"Gia..come on before you late, Nyla already here to pick you up". My mom yelled from her room.

Nyla been by best friend since diapers and she was really the only friend I got. I mean I'm not a loner, I just stay to myself.

" Alright ma, i'm about to grab my stuff and dip" I yelled back from the kitchen. I grabbed a orange and a water before walking out the door.

"Wassup bestie" Nyla screamed while jumping out the car and hugging me.

"Hey bestie" I yelled back while hugging her back. As soon as we got in Nyla pulled off and put on our song Mami by Kali. We pulled up to the school and got out. I had Mr. Rodgers 1st period, so I went and got my stuff out the locker and said bye to Nyla.

I walked in to my class and sat next to the back wall. The bell rang about 4 minutes later and thats when everyone walked in. I scanned the class and tried to see if we had any new kids. While I was in my own world there was a boy just staring at me.

"Take a picture it will last longer weirdo" I snapped. When I looked up I saw this cute darkskin boy. He was tall with a durag on. He must've caught me taking in his appearance because he cleared his throat. I then looked up at him and he started talking.

"I was just asking you is this seat taken because there is no where else to sit" he said. His voice was kinda deep and smooth. He caught me staring again and smirked.

"M..my bad, you can sit right there" I said. I felt so embarrassed because I was just staring at this man like a damn chocolate bar or some. Mr. Rodgers got the classes attention and began to pass out the syllabus. I was passing the paper and somebody pulled my hair. I turned around and was about to cuss someones kid out. I turned around and immediately got angry. It was my ex De'Vontae but everybody call him Von.

"Wassup Gia" he said and I just ignored him. He had the audacity to even talk to me after everything that happened. I just turned around and threw the papers on the ground. I could hear him mumble something and shake his head. I pulled out my phone and text Nyla and tell her what just happened.

I was laughing so hard everyone was staring at me. That made me laugh harder and Mr. Rodger told me to excuse myself from the classroom. I did just that and grabbed all my stuff.

TYRONE POV

I was in my own world when i heard ole girl beside me cracking up. I can't even cap she was pretty asf. She was lightskin and about 5'6. She had box braids and was looking good. All of a sudden she got up and walked out the classroom while smirking and rolling her eyes. Shawty was bad NO CAP!!

Gia POV

I was walking out of class when I seen Nyla walking out to. All I could do was crack up because Nyla don't take no shit. We was about to go to her house because it was closer until Santana grabbed Nyla hand and walked the other way with her. Santana is this Puerto Rican boy she been talking to. They was cute but wasn't official yet.

"Gia I'll be back he tryna show me some" she said while sticking out her tongue and winking. My bestie is a mess. Nyla was pretty. She was darkskin, pretty hair, and a nice body. Me and Nyla been besties since diapers and she has always been down for me. Sometimes I wish I was more like her. Her parents had good jobs and they always spent time with her. My momma was gone most of the time, but had a decent job and my dad was a kingpin. He was actually one of the biggest kingpins in Florida. I have been kidnapped, shot, and was arrested a couple of times..but hey I'm still alive. I was knocked out of my thoughts when the bell rang and I just headed to my next class. I was beyond ready to get this day over with!
