The last thing anyone would want on their first day at a new school is to show up late. What kind of a first impression would that be? It definitely wouldn't be flattering. But unfortunately for Ally,Penelope, and Raven, this is exactly what happened. Living together had a lot of benefits, but when it came to things like this, there were always a few cons.

Showing up to school late was humiliating. The three girls were all dreading what their classmates would think when they walked in thirty minutes late. Their dread was amplified when they actually entered the theatre classroom. All eyes were on them, but they only had eyes for a select few students...

After apologizing for being late (being a new student can get you off scot-free for the first few days. Lucky them!), they took their seats in the only other empty chairs: the very back of the classroom. Raven didn't mind. She didn't want anyone seeing her. Especially... "Penelope , did you see that blonde girl?" She asked quietly.

"You're looking at one."

"No, no! In the front row!"

"Oh, no, I was only looking at one person..." she slowly turned in her seat to face Ally. "You know who looks good today?"

"Who?" Ally asked.

"Not Ally."

Raven burst into laughter. She could never contain it when she started laughing. One of the boys in the row before them turned and glared at them. "Do you mind?" It sounded like he was trying not to be harsh, but, well, it sure came off that way. Julina apologized, not looking him in the eye.

"He's kind of cute," Penelope noted.

"Uh..." Julina looked at him (well, the back of his head), then back at Stephanie. "Well...we all make choices, I guess."

"Ladies in the back," the teacher called. The girls looked up at him. "If you're going to be late, at least try to pay attention to what you're here for." All three girls felt embarrassed. Even Ally, who didn't do all that much. "Now, as I was telling everyone, we'll be starting a project soon. You'll need a partner for these scenes. To get to know your new classmates, I'll be assigning partners based on who I think can teach you best," the teacher said as he went on to list the names of the acting partners. "Let's see...how about Namjoon with Jin, Yoongi with Taehyung, Jungkook with Lisa, Ally with Jimin, Penelope with Hoseok, Raven with Moonbyul and Jennie with Jisoo."

The boy who had turned around to scold them for being obnoxious earlier groaned to himself. "Sounds like someone's really excited to work with Stephanie," Raven pointed out. Penelope didn't even notice. She was just mesmerized by him. "Well." Julina stood up and stretched, twisting and cracking her spine. "Time to find out who...who was it, again? I was busy thinking."

"What about?" Ally asked.

"Just absorbing thoughts," she explained. "Who am I working with again?"

Ally pointed at the blonde girl Raven mentioned before. "Her. Her name is Moonbyul."

"Wow..." Raven got to work with the cutest girl in the class? Was this good karma for not insulting Ally for five whole minutes? "I'm gonna go talk to her!" She left, leaving her two friends alone. "Um..." Moonbyul was talking to another girl. "Uh, hi. I'm Rav-"

"Oh my gosh, it's her!" Moonbyul whispered a bit too loudly to her friend. "Should I ask..? Okay, I'll ask." She turned to Raven, brushing some hair from her face. "So, um, are you, like...gay?" Her friend giggled. "Because, like, you wear weird boots and you have a rainbow bracelet...are you?" Her other friend
laughed uncontrollably.

Penelope and Ally were left to fend for themselves in the back of the room. "Well, Ally, do you know-"

"Hoseok is right there." She pointed at the guy in front of them. How the hell did she know that? That's...interesting. "Remember? Raven annoyed him with all that laughing?"

"Oh. I guess that makes sense..." Stephanie says, not fully aware of what's going on. All her hair dye was starting to damage her brain cells. A small price to pay for her cheap looking blonde extensions. "Oh, Ally, girl, I don't know if I can be separated from your beauty and charm yet...can you come with me?" Ally, flattered, nodded, and followed her. They approached the guy, who was hunched over a reading something. "Hi, I'm Penelope ."

He quickly glanced up at her and looked back down. "Just memorize your lines. I'll sort everything out. Leave me alone."

Penelope looked down, hurt at the way he'd waved her off.  Stephanie nodded slowly, turning to look at Ally. She didn't say anything, but her expression said it all: "I do NOT want to work with him!"

Ally looked at her and said  "Who knows?  It might work out, Penelope . Just be nice to him. Maybe he's just in a really bad mood".

One of the male students comes up to Ally. ''Excuse me. Are you Ally?"

She nods. "You must be...Jimin?"

He nods as well, a warm smile appearing on his face. "Could you meet me at my place after school? I can even give you a ride if you want."

"Oh! Sure." Ally briefly wondered what for. Logic told her it probably had something to do with their project for drama. Well, working at home instead of in the cramped classroom with all the noisy kids definitely sounded a lot more relaxing. "Definitely. I can have my friend drop me off after school. Can I have your number? You know, so we can text? I need your address."

"Definitely." And with that, they exchanged numbers. "How about we spend the last few minutes of class looking over the script?"He asked.

"Yeah. that would be great," Ally replied.

Jimin smiled as he looked Allyup and down. Even though he had a girlfriend, he couldn't help think there was something about her. Maybe it was her brown messy bun or her black sweatshirt. He didn't know, but Jimin was certain he'd never seen a girl like her.

Raven rolled her eyes at the rudeness the beautiful girl in front of her just displayed. She had her hopes up but was, unfortunately, let down.

"Yeah, whatever," Raven said as she skimmed through her script. Moonbyul laughed with her friend as they talked about nonsense.

"So I was thinking you'd be the character with-" Raven started before Moonbyul stuck a finger in her face.

"Listen, you're new. I pick the part. You don't, sweetie. And I usually pick my partner." She said as she shot a dirty look to the teacher. "But unfortunately, that's not the case and I'm stuck with you. So just learn your lines and don't screw this up. Got it?" Moonbyul said as her friend snickered.

Raven felt herself getting angry at the blondes nasty attitude, but decided to ignore it. She was in a new school with people she didn't know. Making enemies could go very badly. "Whatever," Raven muttered, turning away and walking back to Penelope. Unaware of the longing look Moonbyul was giving her as she walked away.

Penelope looked up and noticed the annoyed look on her friend's face. "Your partner a jerk too?" Penelope asked as she gave Hoseok a look, his head down in his script.

"Yep. Hopefully, the rest of the students in this school aren't entitled jerks." Raven muttered, looking around the classroom. Her eyes land on Ally and Jimin. When she notices how much better they're getting along, she frowns. "At least Ally is getting along with her partner."

"Huh?" Ally grunted. She whipped her head towards Raven. Jimin looks at Raven weirdly, then turns to Ally and says "why do you hang out with her?"

Ally looks back at him, head tilted slightly to the side, and brows furrowed in confusion. "She's one of my close friends. Why wouldn't I?"She added. He looked at her with dismay, but she didn't catch it."Oh okay"Jimin said annoyed.
