The (Date)Dare~

After eating, the two are now on Lan Wangji's car heading home. He insisted that he'll take him home as he was late a while ago. Wei Wuxian didn't really argue because he wants it too anyway. What's better to end the day than driving home by the love of your life?

Lan Wangji has been quiet for the whole ride. He will just occassionally respond and answer Wei Wuxian when the latter talks and ask him questions. He is a quiet person of course, Wei Wuxian knew that, but he seems more quiet lately, if that is possible. It's like he is on deep thoughts, like something is bothering him.

And it is not helping Wei Wuxian as he is nervous as hell. As they near his apartment building, he can feel his heart beat going faster. Soon enough, they were parked in front of the building. They both exit the car and now standing in front of the entrance.

Lan Wangji has both his hands on his pocket, and he have a look on his face that Wei Wuxian cannot comprehend. But he didn't mind that as his mind is screaming at him.

"Just do it! Tell him!" His mind scream and he wants to scream back, telling it to shut up because he was nervous as hell.

But his eyes went wide when Lan Wangji stepped forward and placed his head on his shoulder.

"Lan Zhan.. what are you-?" He stuttered  and shuddered a little when he felt Lan Wangji's breath on his neck.

"Thank You for today. You made me really happy." He whispered.

Wei Wuxian heaved a sigh when he heard that, but what he's about to say next was stuck on his throat when he heard what Lan Wangji whispered next.

"Even though I know it's just a dare for you to go out with me today."

His was frozen on his place, his eyes widened and his heart is beating impossibly faster. He opened his mouth to talk but no words came out.

"Goodnight." Lan Wangji whispered once more before placing a kiss on his neck. He then turned around and walked towards his car. He didn't look at Wei Wuxian because he was afraid that the other will see his vulnerable state.

Wei Wuxian was snapped out of his shock when he heard the roar of Lan Wangji's car speeding away.

"Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. I messed up." He cursed when he realized what happens.

He wants to scream because this is not how it's supposed to be!

When he was on his right state of mind, he immediately fished his phone out of his pocket and called Lan Wangji.

"Please please please answer." He whispered while biting his lower lips. Tears are now threatening to fall. He tried calling him more, but after 10 tries, Lan Wangji didn't answer.

He cursed himseld for not reacting sooner a while ago. But who can blame him?! He didn't expect that Lan Wangji knew the dare!

His first instinct was to go in Lan Wangji's apartment and tell him the truth. But he stopped when he realized that, what if he's not there? He didn't know where to look if the other is not home.

Soon he was running towards Jiang Cheng's unit. Thank the heaven's they're on the same building. He can only hope that the person he need is still there. He knocked on the door and was opened. He wants to cry when he saw who it is.
