"Faye,"

My train of thoughts were cut off by the voice of my brother.

"Yeah what's up?" I looked away from the airplane window and turned to him.

"You okay?" He looked worried.

"I'm fine, Ciarán."

"You've been so quiet," He raised an eyebrow.

"I'm just nervous, I guess." I shrugged, looking down to my lap.

"I'm not ready for a new life. It kinda scares me," I admitted, lowering down my voice in embarrassment. I also didn't want my mum to hear this conversation. She's across our seats, on the other side of the plane.

"Hey, it'll be okay. You have me. We'll go through it all together," he said.

"I know that." I rested my head on his shoulder. He put his arm around me, pulling me closer.

"Ciarán, can I ask you something?"

"What is it?"

"I mean, we've never talked about this, even mum doesn't ever bring it up, but.. I feel like we should, you know.." I trailed off, worried about what his reaction is going to be.

"We can't avoid this forever." I added.

"It's dad, isn't it?"

"Yeah.."

"I've been thinking the same, Faye. It's driving me insane that mum acts like nothing happened." He admitted.

"Oh, really? I thought you were like mum."

"No, I just never had the courage to bring it up first." He shook his head gently.

"So what was it that you wanted to ask?"

"Nevermind. I'll ask that another time." I said to him, sighing as I watch the clouds pass by through the window with my head still resting against my brother. I can't believe I'm not even in Ireland anymore. Even the skies look unfamiliar. I've never been out of my own country, let alone move to another.

It's not like I'm going to miss my hometown. I've had enough of everything that's happened in the past few years. It's just that I dread the thought of living in a stranger place and having to meet new people.

Soon my eyes started to feel heavy and I gave in, dozing off to sleep.

Just to clear things off a bit,
This is matt champion fic is going to be kind of an AU. Brockhampton still exists, but all of the members met in high school and the kanye west forum thingy never happened. They all already knew each other in real life. I'll have some other changes too in the future, I'm sure you'll figure them out by yourselves once you've come across them.

Also, bearface doesn't know any of the other members yet by this chapter.
