Paige grabs her backpack and heads out the door. As she is walking from school, she turns around and noticing Tyler and Rahcel driving towards school.

(Tyler is the football captain and Rachel is the cheer captain, they are also dating).

Rachel is laughing, "Look at your clothes! Like where did you even get those clothes."

"My grandmother made these before she passed away."

"Looks like the sewing machine just blew up!"

Paige didn't even reply that time. Rachel told Tyler to drive away so he did.

When Paige arrived at school, she started looking for Raine.

(Raine is her best friend).

Once she found Raine, she told her what happened on the way to school.

Raine looks at Rachel, "She shouldn't treat you like that! You did nothing to her!"

"No she doesn't, but I can't do anything."

"I wish I could help. Rachel's father is the principle so we can't doing anything. He wouldn't care."

Raine hears the bell and walks Paige to class. They sit next to each other. Class starts and Paige sees that Tyler is on time and not late for once.

During class, Raine and Paige are working on their assignment, until Rachel's bff, Fiona, walks by and pretends to trip and ends up spilling her coffee all over Paige.

Fiona and the class starts laughing, "Paige why did you trip me?!"

"I didn't I swear!"

Tyler walks up to them, "Fiona leave her alone."

Fiona walks away.

Raine asks if Paige is okay and gives her a few paper towels.

Tyler looks at Paige, "Are you okay?"

Raine interrupts, "She is fine, now go away."

Paige stands up, "Raine it's okay he was trying to help."

Raine stays quiet. Tyler gives Paige a few more paper towels.

Tyler goes to walk away but then turns to Paige. "I'm really stuck on this assignment, can you help me?"

"Sure I guess."

Paige walks over to his desk and helps him on his work.

"Thank you for helping."

"No problem."

Paige walks back to her seat and Raine gets annoyed that Paige helped him out. Raine reminds her that Tyler bullies her, but Paige doesn't listen. Remember she still has a crush on him?

Skipping to the end of the school day. Paige goes to study hall, but then realizes that her father said to come from straight after school. Paige hurries up and starts running home when she sees Tyler driving home. Not with Rachel this time.

Tyler stops his car, "Paige I can drive you home."

"Fine." Paige gets in his car.

Tyler drives her home and drops her off. "Your welcome Paige."

Paige questions him, "You know my name?"

"Of course I do, your in some of my classes and see you every day at school. Plus, people talk about you a lot."

"Bye Tyler."

He chuckles then drives home. When Paige gets inside, she sees her father looking her at her.

(Her father's name is John, that will come in handy to know soon).

He punishes her to her room. Paige ends up sneaking out of her room from her window and runs to a lake a mile away.

This lake is the same lake that her mother would take her. They would climb the tree and sit there, talk for hours. That's what Paige does now. Except alone.

Paige is on the tree sitting there, looking at the lake. As she is sitting there, she notices someone is walking towards her. Tyler climbs up the tree and sits next to her.

Paige looks at him, "Were you following me?"

"No, it's a quiet place and a good place to think."

Paige nodded. Tyler asked why she was here. Paige explained by mentioning her mother.

"Why doesn't she take you now?"

"My mother passed away."

"I'm so sorry. I had no idea."

"Of course you didn't. All you do is bully me."

"I didn't mean to upset you."

"You don't understand."

"I do understand. My dad died a year ago from a car accident."

"I'm sorry."

"Its okay. I just don't like talking about it."

Paige nods and offers to give him a hug and he excepts. They hug then talk for a few hours.

"What about your father?"

"He isn't a good father."

Tyler asks why. She tells him everything. She even tells him about what happened with Ron (if you don't remember, that's her ex).

Tyler can't believe that really happened to her. He calms her down then eventually they have to go, so they back to their houses.
