Alexandra Allen hated one thing and one thing only, people who woke her up in the middle of the night. Not only that, metas who were causing trouble in the early hours of the morning. Her brother knew that she wasn't going to wake up to the sound of her alarm, so he sped over to her apartment to wake her up, something he hated doing.

"Alex!" He shouts, shaking her awake in her bed.

"What?" She groans, turning away from her brother.

"Did you not hear the 5 alerts we sent? Robbery. Now." He tells her and she jumps out of bed and speedily changes into her suit.

"Where?" She asks.

"Central City Bank." He tells her and she speeds away in the direction. "Seriously? One second you're in bed and the next you're speeding to the bank. How does she do it." Barry mutters under his breath in disbelief, heading off to the bank as well.

The pair move all the guards from inside the bank to a safe point outside and the two speedsters corner the two bank robbers.

"Flash, Lightning." They grunt, tightening the grip on their machine guns.

"Hate to crash the party, but I was trying to sleep." Alex chuckles, looking at the two thugs.

"We'll let you sleep, permanently." The other guy grunts, going to unleash his bullets onto the pair but Alex only sighs as time stops around her. She rushes over to the two robbers and takes the guns out of their hands before they can even shoot a single bullet. Barry then places cuffs around their wrists. The two heroes wait until the cops show up and then they can decide to leave. Barry takes his leave first, hugging his sister goodbye and then she begins to head off but she notices a man standing in the corner watching. He notices her watching him and turns to move away, but the second she turns, Alex is in front of him.

"You were watching us, why?" She interrogates.

"There was a robbery." The British accent responds.

"I'm not an idiot, I mean, you were watching us with that little calculated look that you've got. Did you have something to do with this?" She questions but the man shakes his head.

"I need your help." He tells her and she simply raises an eyebrow. "My name is Rip Hunter-"

Alex's eyes widen when she hears that name, remembering it from the mouth of Eobard Thawne. "You're from the future." He looks at her with bewilderment, not knowing how she could know that information. "I met someone from the future, he told us your name after we helped him build a time machine. Said 'Rip Hunter would be impressed'."

"The world where I come from has been destroyed by a tyrant named Vandal Savage. I'm looking to build a team to help me stop him." He tells her. "I've enlisted a few people, Sarah Lance, Ray Palmer, Mick Rory, Leonard Snart, Kendra Sanders, Carter Hall, Jackson Jefferson, Martin Stein."

"And they've accepted?" Alex wonders, not believing it for a second, meaning she wasn't shocked when Rip shakes his head.

"I was wondering if you could help." He pleads. "With you on my side, a hero. They won't say no."

Alex pauses as she knows that there is something wrong with the situation. "So I'm assuming that Arrow, Flash and I didn't defeat vandal savage?" Rip shakes his head. "What about the team? You're a time traveller, you know the consequences of taking someone who matters. It could change your future completely."

"I chose that group because they don't matter to the main timeline." Rip reveals.

"And me?"

Rip filters his eyes to the ground for a second, and then points them back at Violet Lightning. "You're my risk. You can time travel on your own and protect yourself, your own destiny. I won't have to worry about you getting hurt because you can move fast enough for that to not happen."
