That ain't cheating right? It can't be, I just had a conversation with him. I'm still gonna tell Jalen anyways, just in case someone saw us and thought it was something different. But I don't wanna talk to him right now, so ill tell him during lunch.

I walked into my 5th hour class which is my history class. This class is really cool actually, I enjoy learning about the past. Like civil rights, slavery, injustice cases.

"You guys have a project and its due when we come back from break. You have to find one case about injustice. Make a report about it and you can make it on a poster or a power point. If you have other ideas on it. Let me know and we can discuss it" Mr. Carp said

BET! At least I'll be busy when Jalen's not home. I decided I was gonna do Brown vs Mississippi.

That's basically what we did in class.

Now onto lunch. Gotta tell Jalen and I gotta see what's up with this tournament.

I went to the table and I just sat down.

"Hey bitch, I haven't heard from you in a while." Brittany said as she sat down

"Girl, I just saw you this morning" I laughed as we hugged

"What you've been doing" she said

"Nothing I come to school go to practice and if not here or at a game I'm at home" I smiled

"Oh, you're a homebody, that's why Jalen likes you" she laughed

"The fuck is the problem with that" I said with a straight face. 

"Woah, nothing. All I'm saying is you never go out. I want you to come out with me sometime" she said

"I'm good" I said as I stopped looking at her

"I didn't mean to offend you J. I was just saying. You don't have to be so sensitive about it" she said with an attitude

"How are you a sophomore and you're so worried about partying. Bitch get you diploma first then party in college, if you make it to there" I said getting up with my stuff

"Bitch fuck you. That's why me and Jalen fucked" she yelled

I turned around so fast. I was trying so hard for the tears to start falling.

"What" I said looking at her

Now its dead quiet in the cafeteria. Everyone is listening.

Then I felt two arms hug me and carry me out of the cafeteria.

"Let me go. Fuck I'm not a damn baby" I said turning around to see who it was

"Babe you know we didn't do anything. She was just saying anything to get under your skin." He said hugging me

"Jalen what is she talking about. Do you guys have history?" I said

"We went to middle school together, but that's it. We barely even talked." He said

"So, when I was introducing yall together, why did you pretend to not know her?" I asked with my head down

"Because I didn't want you to think like we used to be something" he said

"You know what, have fun in Las Vegas okay. Fuck everything and anything there." I said walking away

"Baby stop come here." He said pulling me back

"I'm not even gonna go to practice today. I'm getting all my shit from your house." I said turning to walk away again
