My Alpha Mate

Chapter One

Sabrinas POV

"HA, you sure you wanna go again Trev?" I ask my beta Trevor as I throw him to the ground for the third time 10 minutes into our training session. He insisted that I stop holding back on him and that 'he can take it'. 

"Yea let's go, I'm done holding back" Trevor says while trying to get air in his lungs.

"haha, okay you asked for it" I say while laughing. 

Trevor has been my best friend ever since we were born. His dad was my dads best friend and beta so there was no question that Trevor was gonna be my beta as soon as I became alpha. 

Unfortunately I became alpha of the Blood Moon pack sooner than expected. My parents were two of the strongest rulers to ever live. My father was the alpha of the pack and my mother was the luna, although she was a vampire. 

My mothers family wasn't too supportive of her decision to marry my dad but they were mates so there was no question in either of their minds about being together, they were as in love as it gets. 

It is very rare for a vampire to have a mate especially with a werewolf but it isn't unheard of. It is even more rare for them to have a child, actually its pretty much impossible. I happen to be the first and only person to be born from a werewolf and vampire, so I guess you could call me a miracle. 

Since my parents are of two different species, I am half vampire and half werewolf, a hybrid, and perhaps one of the strongest beings to live. Especially being the daughter of an alpha.

Ever since I could walk my parents had taught me the history of both the werewolf and vampire world. They also decided that it would be smart to teach me how to fight from a young age because they feared that I would be hunted for being what I am, and they were right. At first I was hunted a lot and my parents fought with their lives to protect me, until I grew old enough and I fought right along side them. I realized that I needed people to fear me so that they wouldn't even think about coming for me or my family, and thats exactly what I did. Im ruthless and people shudder at the mention of my name. It is not something that I necessarily loved but it keeps the people that I love safe and thats all that matters. 

My parents were always proud of the person I was and made sure that I knew kindness and mercy, but they also understood why I needed to be feared. Everyday I hope that they are still proud of the person that I am.

100 years ago my parents died in a war against the vampire elders, and I did too, or so I thought. My parents and I realized that the vampires were never going to stop coming for us and it put the pack in danger. We lost many of the people in our pack, including children, the vampires didn't care they were pure evil. My parents and I made a deal with them that they could have us as long as they didn't harm our pack and they happily agreed. My parents tried to get the vampires to take just them and leave me but of course they wanted me dead most. I didn't care anyway, I didn't want to live forever without my parents, if they were going to die I wanted to be with them. 

The vampires took us to the chambers in the forbidden forest and left us there to burn. I remember everything from that night. The screams, the feeling of my skin burning, and my parents slowly dying in front of my eyes, and then it stopped. I woke up in the morning completely healed with ashes surrounding me, with what was left of my parents, I guess being the original hybrid meant that I couldn't be killed, but I knew what I had to do. It is exactly what my parents would do and what they would want me to do. I went back to the pack mansion and became the alpha, and ever since I have been running the Blood Moon pack in honour of my parents.

I am 219 years old, which is pretty young for an alpha. Most alphas are like 300 years old so I mean, not that big of a difference but still, I have been running this pack for 119 years where as other alphas have probably only been ruling for 50 years.
