Mika's pov
After school I told Yuu I had plans after school, well that was my excuse anyway. He was confused why we couldn't just go together, but I eventually convinced him to go back home. What I'm actually doing is getting a surprise for Yuu and the others.
So I'm in a pet store looking for a cute kitty. I end up getting a kitten that's only a few months old.
When I get home everyone is playing a board game. I carefully take the kitten out of the carrier, gently hide the kitten behind my back, and walk in the living room. "Hey everyone, I got us all something."
Everyone jumps up and yells, "what do you have?" That made me laugh. I show them the kitten, and Akane instantly takes the kitten and holds it like a baby, 'Akane is such a mom to everyone.' Yuu comes up with the name Kitty. So simple, but just like Yuu.
The next day at school, Yuu brags to everyone, even strangers, that I got him a cat. Then at lunch, "thanks Mika, so much for getting Kitty!" "I thought you'd like it." I smile and pet his head while I say that.
Then while we're walking home he asks me, "hey Mika, can I sleep with you tonight?" "Sure, did you have another nightmare?" "Yeah, I did." "I thought I was over this." "It's ok, you don't even need a excuse to sleep with me anyway." "I just feel bad, I feel like I'm burdening you." "No, I like it anyway, me and everyone else would gladly sleep together if we had a bed the size of a small room."
"You think?" "Of course, we're the Hyakuya family," I say with a proud smile on my face. "Haha, yeah that's true," "Something tells that cat will become a very affectionate one with this family!" "It sure will!"
